Room was clean, beds were clean, bathroom was clean. The only issue was the heat. The furnace would only stay lit for about 5 seconds (you could clearly hear and see the ignition and flames) and the room never got warmer than 62 degrees, no matter what the thermostat setting. It just felt cold.

I'm expecting to book my next stay again here, as a solo traveler, those units have everything you need for a comfortable stay

I think Plainfield is a very busy but very safe place. People are kind. Every time I go, I always enjoy myself. There is always a store very nearby anywhere I’m at and there is a lot to do. Close to Indianapolis as well.
I lived in Plainfield in the late '90s and it has really grown since then but it still doesn't seem crowded. Plainfield is a wonderful place to stay if you plan to visit Indy or any of the suburbs.
In need of more dining options
I have family that lives in the area, so I have stayed in the area in the past, and the Wingate is a facility I will use again, in the future!
Would definitely come here again
We really wanted to go to a fancy-ish dinner but not to expensive, and also not a franchise but there wasn’t much to offer in Plainfield and nearby.
