“This was the culmination of a self-promise made 11 years ago. Then, we had afternoon tea on the patio, but can’t remember how we discovered Portloe. We said we should stay here if we ever visit Cornwall again. Fast forward to now; an unexpected opportunity to re-visit Cornwall. And it came to pass. Our stay did not disappoint- the quirky corridors to our room, the spectacular views from the windows, the bright and airy restaurant and the opportunity (again) to observe a lone fisherman working on……

“Great place to stay, a lovely basket of goodies on arrival. A really quiet place to chill out.
The hot tub smelt a little funky, like someone had let their dog in it (ugh) but with a quick wipe out it was ok.”
