I had forgotten to load my South Africa map on to my TomTom GPS before leaving the UK and the lady of the house helped me do this on her own computer for which I will be eternally grateful. room was nice with balcony with table and chairs and river view. "The reserve has comfortable chalets. The game drives were amazing thou sometimes were felt borderline dangerous due to very close encounters with lions and especially with the large herd of elephants with babies, that became agitated by our car proximity. Fortunately, all encounters ended peacefully. Our guide/driver Brendon had 21 years of experience in the reserve, thanks to him we had unforgettable experience of finding and meting almost all the species in reserve, as I mentioned mostly face to face: lions (full family of 7), elephants, buffalos, rhinos, hippos (that's 4 out of big 5), not to mention zebras, elands, springboks, wildebeests, herds of giraffes to mention a few. Would recommend visiting the reserve, We spent there full 2 days what was more than enough to not repeat same experiences, if we were staying longer."
