Perfect Porthtowan

"Absolutely fabulous time staying in Porthtowan. The accommodation was brilliant. Everything you needed and loved the veranda looking over the beach. beds were comfortable and accommodation equipped for all of our needs. Contact with the owner was great. Thank you so much Gilly ….very quirky with the rope handrail for the stairs….loved it ! 😁"

Great property, beautiful location

"We had a lovely stay at this property in Porthtowan. We were a party of 8, 2 families, and the house was perfect. Very clean, everything we needed and a lovely welcome pack of goodies when we arrived. Brilliant communication throughout with the host. 5 min walk to the beach, great bar and restaurant also just a 5 min walk. Bit cold when we went but we braved the sea and so glad we did! Great time had by all."

Beach Cottage with amazing beach and sea views

Wonderful house!

"We stayed for 3 nights over a Weekend in March, and even with iffy (cold, bit rainy) it was wonderful. House is exactly as shown in the pics - immaculate -- with unexpected beautiful views from not only the family room (with huge expanse of glass including out onto the patio) but also from the master and from the kitchen. The setting at the end of the street means you get both water and headline views, with nothing in between, and walk directly unto the headland trails. Big kitchen, big dining room, plenty of comfy beds and bathrooms for 10 people. Loved this, will plan to come back,."

Contemporary Beach House with sea views and short walk to Blue Flag beach

much needed escape with an amazing view

"We needed an early year escape, had discovered Wheal Coates a couple of years ago and Porthtowan seemed like an ideal base for the weekend. The house was perfect for the four of us, with lots of space and incredible choice of rooms. Views of the waves were better than we expected even. Everything was clean - kitchen was great - lots of mugs, glasses, plates etc. Lots of steps up to the front door, but most were shallow so it was not too tiring after a long walk round the coast path. Parking space was large enough for one car but being up a ramp, i would not have wanted to try to park another car behind it. The main car park in Porthtowan was free at this time of year, though, and was only a couple of minutes walk away. Altogether very comfortable - would definitely love to come again, especially as nowhere is far to get to, even on the other coast."
