"This rental surpassed all our expectations in every way! I’ve stayed in numerous vacation rentals over the years, and this one was by far the best. The setting in the forest and on the Tualatin River was surreal. The attention to detail amazing. The Goat Shed & Zen dens were quite clean & cozy. As 2 older women, we felt very safe staying here. Overall centrally located and a quick drive down the road into West Linn offered several wonderful dining options. Definitely plan on staying here again....

"The cottage is a tiny home that feels bigger. Plenty of beds for everyone- the kids slept upstairs and we slept downstairs. Every morning we enjoyed tea on the cozy back deck. We went kayaking nearly every day, which was a huge bonus! We loved taking walks to Cook Park, or to Trader Joe’s. Turk and Cynthia were wonderful hosts. We are hoping to come back next summer!"

"The Zen Cottage was the tranquil oasis we needed after a taxing air travel to Portland during the global IT outage. "Neat and Tidy, all things to make your visit comfortable. Would be interesting to know the history of this little place. Hosts stayed in contact. Deer and squirrels stopped by for a visit. Very quiet except when the Train passes (after a day you don’t notice it). Only disappointment was the shower, it’s “NOT A SHOWER/TUB COMBO.” The Cottage slops a bit to the South, but understandable due to age. All in all it was a great place to stay."

"My husband and I enjoyed a fabulous romantic birthday weekend at the “Old Barn” and we definitely plan to return! We were delighted with the globally eclectic decor, super comfortable bed, private setting, deck and hot tub and incredibly large shower… everything we needed for a romantic weekend. Plus a baby grand piano! So I was able to serenade him with love songs. Thanks for creating such a lovely space and making our stay easy and comfortable."
