Staff was wonderful and very accommodating for two weary travelers keeping the dining room open an extra 30 due to our late arrival on the first day. Beautiful grounds and hotel. I give them my highest recommendation. David & Eileen

Lovely 300 year old building

Lovely old house converted to a hotel on the shores of the lake. A bit remote that makes for it's attraction. Very friendly and helpful staff. Restaurant offers a good menu.

Pros: Location on the lake

Cons: Not much

Location: Primarily walking because of it's remoteness, there are plenty of opportunities to take extensive walks. Not close to any shopping etc.

Ideal place to stay on the Isle of Skye

The Greshornish House Hotel offers an idealistic Scottish experience on the Isle of Skye. It's charming, cozy and family friendly. You can play croquet on the front lawn that overlooks the water, read a book or engage in a battle of Mastermind in the drawing room, and have a wonderful Scottish meal on their onsite restaurant—all of which we did!
