Simply satisfiedPosted Oct 8, 2015
Pros: Overall felt my business was welcomed and appreciated. Also the private beach though small was nice as well.
Cons: There is no casino at this hotel as advertised. It was closed several years ago.
Location: If you don't mind walking their are dozens of restaurants and several souvenir shops nearby. Old San Juan was 5 minutes away, airport 10 minutes away.
I was so relieved when I got to my room. The pictures online matched my room exactly. All staff was friendly. The hotel has a few restaurants within. There are 3 adult pools, 2 Jacuzzi's and 1 kiddie pool. The kiddie pool is quite small however for those wondering. Breath taking views made me feel like a photographer. If you don't enjoy your stay look in the mirror.

For Four Stars Stay at Caribe HiltonPosted Oct 8, 2015
Pros: Modern Designs, 24/7 Open Access to the Pool (however not well lit), Great location, Bus stop right outside the door, great snorkeling in the lagoon
Cons: Maintenance. Half of the swim up bar's seats were broken. Fountains didn't work. Very loud music at the pool, couldn't hear the bartender. No casino.
Location: Bus stop right outside the hotel, convenient stores nearby, subway and starbucks close, GREAT snorkeling at the lagoon right at the beach.
Upon arrival we were placed in a hotel room that had someone else's stuff in it. Had to get a new room. The concierge didn't speak english well, but seemed to be the only one. The hotel is very modern at first glance, but has some maintenance issues. Every other seat at the swim up bar was broken off. They were just rusty metal posts. Not safe. The beach is a PUBLIC beach which I must have breezed over because every time we've stayed in San Juan the beach has been a private beach at the hotel. There is NO CASINO as advertised. Hasn't been for a year. Stay at the Caribe Hilton across the bay. Much nicer place and WAY better pool with an amazing private beach. We've stayed there two other times and were far more pleased. Just wanted to try something different.

Would not eat at the restaurant. Got spoiled chicken breast my very first meal. Poolside service was non existent. Had to get my own drinks.

Very nice hotel.Posted Oct 6, 2015
We stayed for 5 nights for our honeymoon. Great view from room (9th floor ocean view king). Nice room, friendly staff. Food at cafe caribe was pretty good and not too pricey. Joseph was a great waiter. You must try the churrasco sandwich. We ate there for 4/5 nights. Pools were clean and not too crowded. We really loved the salt water pool. We'd definitely come back.

Very nice hotel, great pools and beach was nice.Posted Oct 5, 2015
Pros: We liked everything about the hotel as noted above.
Cons: The internet in our room and on the property kept disconnecting. Also, we thought they should have some nightly entertainment.
Location: The hotel was close enough to walk to nearby restaurants and casinos.
Overall our hotel experience was great! Every employee we encountered was very friendly and very helpful. There were plenty of places to eat and enjoy a drink. We really enjoyed the pool in the Ocean Tower and the beach. We would have liked the hotel to have some nightly entertainment since they don't have a casino.

Great staff, from valet parking to final check outPosted Oct 5, 2015
Cons: Change the pillows. Upgrade the mattress in the Jr Suites. Include television guide for channels in the room. Walkway bridge had an interesting smell.
Short notice stay at the hotel, check in was painless the folks checking us in were friendly and helpful. All facets of our stay was enjoyable until we discuss the bed and pillows. I guess a wooden platform bed frame with a mattress is today's comfort, but for an older couple it was not pleasant nights sleep. I must admit I have never seem a pillow that measured 13" deep compress to 1/2" thickness when a head is laid on it. That needs a major remake! This grand old hotel is tired, it tries to maintain it's image, but the huge gap left by the casino closure is hard not to miss on the second level. A few tables and chairs and a lone musician playing to an empty house says more than pictures.

Nice large roomPosted Sep 29, 2015
Very nice large room with great balcony comfy bed and nicely decorated. Great bathroom and shower the only thing that was bad was right above the shower was a vent and it was completely filthy had not been cleaned it was directly above the shower head so I was unable to take a long shower :/
