The property was run down but it was good for us and what we needed. Transportation was convenient. Hector and the staff were very helpful and friendly.
Awesome hotel! I'm 60 years old and my wife 58. This was our 13th trip to Vallarta but our first hotel stays in Mismaloya. Refreshing change. We love Vallarta but 8 miles further south is Mismaloya. Very quiet, no time share sales and very few beach vendors. The zoo is a ten-minute walk, the beach 5 and the botanical gardens (priority) 15 minutes by bus. Convenience store attached for any odds and ends you might need. We get on the bus each morning and head out to explore. Bus to Vallarta costs 10 pesos (.50 USD). Only 8 miles but the driver will pick up other people for work. This hotel is great in my opinion. Very inexpensive.
property was close to Mismaloya Beach, decent pool a bit on the cold side but still nice.
The kitchen is not well stocked, few pots and pans, no dish soap and dish cloth provided. Only 1 small knife available to prep food.
Great place for the $$. 5 minute walk to the beach. Beds and couches are uncomfortable. Breakfast is not quite as good as it used to be, but overall, its a great deal for the money.
The grounds are beautiful, surrounded by forest. Very beautiful area. Bus easily accessible into Puerto Vallarta. The staff are attentive and friendly. Hope to return to this cute little hotel.
