Bathroom had not been throughly cleaned. I was on 2nd floor in back Next to woods stairway was isolated and dark waited till daylight to leave room felt like there was an opportunity for robbery. Seemed like they had transients in another building ( 3 separate buildings) mine behind main one next to swamp very isolated no one around for security

Pros and Cons

Posted Apr 23, 2016 on Hotels
On the positive side: The motel was very convenient to where we needed to go in town. Registration personnel were very friendly and accomodating, especially Hiten. Every time I'd go to get ice, if I needed anything else, like bottled water, hand lotion, or just information, he provided it. Our room was clean, and the bed was comfortable. On the negative side: There were no ice bends close by. Ice was only available from the front offce, which was way up a hill, past another building. We're in our 70's so we drove to the office. Housekeeping service was OK accept they evidently hadn't cleaned the coffee maker for a very, VERY long time. When I was ready to use it the first time, I noticed that where you pour the water was full (and I do mean FULL) of white mold. I notified them, and was given a brand new coffee maker immediately. Also, they kind of "dropped the ball" one day, and forgot to replenish the coffee, tea, cream & sugar, coffee cups and plastic drinking glasses. However, when I called the front desk, they sent everything to us very quickly. The hardwood flooring was a little cool. No carpeting. The iron kept shutting off. I had to keep unplugging it and plugging it back in to use it, and the water from the bathroom faucet has a slight odor.

Awful

Posted Apr 4, 2016
Pros: I could bring my dog.
Cons: DON'T CALL YOUR GUESTS AT THEIR UNCLE'S FUNERAL. Start with that.
The front lobby stank of nasty food. I let the staff know I needed to check out late because I was going to a funeral. They said I had to pay 10 dollars per hour after the proper checkout time. I told them I was fine with that. At some point after 1 pm they called me twice at the funeral!!!! TWICE!!!!! Who does that?
