I was disappointed with this hotel. First, the good stuff - the location is great. It is close to all the shops, right on the boardwalk so its just a stones throw to the beach. The ladies that clean the rooms did a good job. However, I was very disappointed in a few major ways. First, it was way too expensive for the quality. Now, to be fair, we stayed for a few days in early August, which is peak season - so I get it... but $400 per night for something that would normally go for $80 per night in the offseason was hard to swallow. We paid for an "ocean view" but got a tiny balcony that you couldn't enjoy because of two reasons... first, the air conditioner leaked water all over the floor of the balcony CONSTANTLY. Not just from our room, but the rooms above so there was always water dripping down from above - so if you wanted to sit there... it was not pleasant. Second, the room next to us (remember, it was a corner... like inner corner) the guy next to us could basically look around and see in our room. There were only black out curtains, no middle of the road ones, so it was either pitch black in the room or really bright, which I didn't mind, but remember, the rooms adjacent to us could all see in, so if you wanted any privacy at all, you had to shut the curtains and be in total darkness. The general décor of the place was 20 or so years old, carpets were old and worn, popcorn ceilings that had holes in them, etc. Parking wasn't easy. Just overall disappointed.
