One night the whole gang of family members (ages 24-61) started talking in detail about all the pros and cons of this home. Here you go, for your viewing pleasure and amusement.
Pros:
-Location is great if you want to be able to walk to Mid-Town Reno with lots of restaurants, shops, bars, etc. Within a mile is also a CVS, Staples, All You can eat Sushi, dispensary and supermarket.
-Very comfortable firm beds and plenty of storage in bedrooms.
-Great washer and dryer with detergent included.
-Nice sized bathrooms.
-Well stocked kitchen with awesome pots and pans, coffee grinder, bar set, good knife set, good storage containers, ice maker in the freezer, and dishwasher.
-Central air!
-Great selection of teas and a tea kettle
-Very nice backyard with a gas firepit, gas grill, nice evening lighting.
-Good selection of indoor and outdoor games and puzzles.
-We went to Tahoe one day so really appreciated the beach towels and cooler with wheels.
-Plenty of parking.
-A guitar and ukulele and instructions to teach yourself to play!
-One of the bedrooms (with private bath) is set away from the others for great privacy.
-Very clean.
-Nice decor. Plenty of seating.
Cons: (we got a bit nit-picky, LOL)
- couches and chairs are adequate but not super comfy
-wish the backyard had a lounger/couch seating
-slider to back deck needs a curtain on it
-Deck has loose pieces of wood that need to be replaced
-house comes with lots of puzzles, but the dining room table is wooden slatted so puzzle pieces can easily slip through
- beautiful mugs for tea but coasters are just a wee bit too small for the mugs (this one my daughter insisted I write here, haha.)
Weirdly, the "master bedroom" with private bath in a separate wing of the house has a queen sized bed and the bedroom with the king size bed is side by side with the other bedroom (queen bed) with a shared bath between them.
All in all, this is a lovely place to stay and we will be back when visiting our family in the area. We really enjoyed the home, especially the backyard at night. Thank you!
