"Very clean, with tasteful room and bathroom and shower and facilities. Had an amazing spa attached. Very grateful for a sports massage for my body, which was aching halfway through the Lycian Way. Also grateful for their laundry service. The hotel is centrally located, near fine restaurants, and across the street from an excellent wine and beer store. I would thoroughly recommend this hotel."

"Horrible Review: Sianji Well-being Resort, Bodrum – A Masterclass in Deception and Overcharging I have stayed in many five-star resorts, but my experience at the Sianji Well-being Resort in Bodrum was so profoundly disappointing and financially predatory that it deserves a special category of awful. My primary grievance is a blatant case of bait-and-switch overcharging at breakfast. I was aware my room rate might not include breakfast and was perfectly prepared to pay the advertised rate of R128 per person for a continental buffet, as stated on their hotel app. However, what transpired was nothing short of a scam. Upon entering the dining hall, our room number was checked against a printed list, leading us to logically assume breakfast was included. We were seated and served. As vegetarians, our requests were simple: two toasted cheese, tomato, and onion sandwiches, three glasses of pineapple juice, and we inquired about pastries. They offered ice cream and chocolate mousse instead. After eating, we were stopped and presented with a bill for a staggering 2,950 Turkish Lira (approximately R1150.00). This was not the continental breakfast rate. They had itemized every single component at outrageous, à la carte prices—charging us exorbitantly for two simple sandwiches, three juices, and the desserts they themselves offered. "This is a simple, small, friendly hotel in the centre of town. Firstly what could have been better: Breakfast was limited for me as a vegan. Ita typical Turkish breakfast with one hot dish, cold meats, cheeses, olives, salad, some fruit, bread, butter, jam, honey, chocolate spread. Two kinds of cereal, coffee and Turkish tea are available as well as cold fruit squash drinks and water. I still managed to eat lots of bread, olives, salad and tahini spread. The hotel is in a central location so it can be noisy at night. Unfortunately I had some noisy neighbours too. Air con is noisy. Shower door didn't shut properly so the floor got a bit wet . These are the only issues. The pluses: Quiet, small but beautiful cute little swimming pool. Free beach towels. Free air con. Free use of safe. Free wifi. Room was cleaned daily. Staff are super helpful and kind. I was allowed to leavw my bags and spend all day by the pool after checking out. I can't recommend this enough. It's basic, no frills or fuss but it had everything I needed. Right bang in the centre, easy to walk to teansport, port, shops etc."
