Hotel Ponte Sisto is in the perfect spot in the old section of Rome. Their staff deserves 10 stars!!! The service and kindness displayed to guests is outstanding. The breakfast is delicious and presented beautifully. An offer of a steaming cappuccino first thing sets the style and taste of the food. The dining room staff does a wonderful job of keeping the food hot, attractive and tasty. In the dining room there were some guests who were loud, obnoxious and downright disgusting. The staff had to clean up a mess they made after they left. The hostess offered to move me to a quieter location because they were so disruptive. However, when those guests were there again, their behavior was much improved and they behaved. Thank you to whoever explained to them that their behavior was not acceptable. The room I had was #103. The WiFi didn't have a strong signal, maybe they can improve that. I loved the room with a window that opened and I could enjoy listening to the people on the street. I loved the fact that there was not much traffic noise, just people enjoying the neighborhood. If you'd like a private tour of the Vatican, ask the front desk to make arrangements. It's not inexpensive but it is worth every penny! You'll get to see some areas at the Vatican not many are allowed to see. I'd recommend this hotel because the staff was wonderful. Thank you for a lovely stay!
