"This is the fourth time I have been to La Prairie. I come here mainly to indulge my hobby of astrophotography as the skies are dark and the weather good, but you can't guarantee clear skies at night even in the south of France! Francoise is very welcoming, helpful and never intrusive. Isis the dog is perhaps the most friendly dog you will ever meet. The view across to the hills is amazing, the gite is clean and comfortable and I am sure I will return again."

Joanna was fabulous in making sure we were oriented to the bells and whistles of the property and cultural experiences in and around Roussillon. Our stay was magical starting with morning visits to the boulangerie and petit breakfast on our private terrace overlooking the village and surrounding hills (complete with hot air balloons). Day trips to surrounding hilltop towns, daily farmers markets everywhere, blooming...

"The villa is perfect for two families and the nearby villages and lake including Cannes offers plenty to see and explore. Really the essence of Provence. A car is a must. The villa including pool was very clean and in general hold high standard. The host family lives in a private part of the villa. Speaking a little french is recommended. //Mikkel"
