"Amazing place which was so quiet and relaxing. We never tried the pool but we had the honeymoon suite which had hot tub and a huge room. Breakfast was adequate with a good selection of cakes and fruit. I would say that you need a car as it’s a long walk into town and up a steep hill. "

"Stayed at several B&Bs during our trip. This one we would not return to. AC wouldn't go below 28c/82f. The beds were really hard, so between the heat and bed it was very hard to sleep. Be prepared to carry your bags up spiral staircase 3 floors without help. Bring a towel for pool, they do not provide. "My great grandfather was born in the very small town of Aquara and, in planning our trip from the USA to Italy, we were looking for a peaceful, welcoming spot to stay while we paid a short visit to the city. The staff was terrifically accommodating and the property was beautiful. There is a restaurant, small bar and pool on site as well as short walking trail, hammocks and, since they are up on a hill, beautiful views of the valley below Aquara. "

"We had a great stay at Casa Vittoria! The studio was well-equipped, and the hosts were really friendly. We really enjoyed having breakfast in the garden as well. Since the property is in the ZTL area, they arranged the permit for us in advance, which was super helpful. There's also a washing machine available for a small fee, which came in handy. The place is just outside Borgo Antico, so don’t miss a sunset walk there – it’s stunning!"

"Quaint boutique hotel just minutes from the Greek ruins. Hotel lobby is beautiful as are the expansive grounds. Our room was very small, but that is our fault for not verifying the room size when we booked it. Wifi bandwidth was limited but we were able to stream/FaceTime with periodic disruption. (The hotel did also have some internet issues when we checked-in.) Very good restaurant on site - Michele the maitre’d/ sommelier was very friendly and gave us some wonderful recommendations for wine options. He proudly showed us his wine cellar and various wines that he stocks from the region. Really enjoyed our stay."
