"I really enjoyed my stay here! The staff were so kind and welcoming, which made the whole experience feel extra special. The service was excellent, and the location couldn’t be better — everything was close by and it was super easy to get to the restaurant. Such a comfortable and friendly place, I’d definitely come back!

"The staff are excellent. All very professional and they go above and beyond. The hotel is on a quiet street you are assured of a decent nights sleep. Good memory foam mattress and pillows. It’s only about a 10/15 minute walk down to the promenade where you can access buses and ferries to Valletta. "

"The Maltese Sun is a fabulous B&B in the heart of Sliema. Within easy reach of some excellent restaurants and close to public transport. The B&B is spotlessly clean throughout. The buffet breakfast is fabulous. Jessica, in reception, and the rest of the team are amazing. Thank you."

"The short response to our stay at the Malta Marriott Resort & Spa is simply "Wonderful".
The those wanting more detail: My wife and I stayed for 7 nights, half board, 11-18 October 2025, booked as a package through Expedia. The check-in process was professional and courteous, something common to every member of the hotel staff. Our room was spacious and spotlessly clean (as was the whole hotel). New bottled water was refreshed every morning and evening, and a lovely touch was the nightly turn down service (who can say no to a chocolate on your bed!).
The Hotel has two outside pools both with a bar serving food and hot and cold drinks. The real bonus is the spa which we had full use of, and paid for a 55 minute treatment which was well worth the extra payment.
Each evening we ate in the main restaurant, either inside or out on the veranda with a view over St Julians Bay. The menu provided a wide choice and we were free to pick whatever took our fancy. The breakfast was served in the "marketplace" restaurant with an extensive range on offer to suit every possible taste, definitely spoilt for choice! All staff members were great, but Sandhu at breakfast did standout as "exceptional".
All in all, we had a great holiday in Malta, and staying at the Marriott Resort & Spa played a large part in ensuring that was the case. Great staff, facilities, food and location."
"By far the best hotel we have ever stayed in – truly 5 stars!
Firstly, thank you. We would like to warmly thank all staff, as every individual we interacted with was phenomenal.
So, to give context – I’m kind of fussy. I’ve travelled extensively for 20 years with business, and this has resulted in many disappointing personal holidays, as I want and expect a certain level.
When booking holidays, “5 star” clearly means different things to different people, or different locations. Therefore, we knew we wanted to visit Malta, and made sure we did our homework on location and hotel beforehand.
We found this review really useful https://www.30views.net/blog/hilton-malta-pxlm2 and agree with everything.
Firstly, location. St. Julians is excellent. Nice restaurants, good bars. If you are younger and enjoy a thriving nightlife, then you have Paceville a short walk away. We wanted a more “resort feel” whilst still being close to stuff – this hit the nail on the head. Transport links are excellent and only a stroll from the hotel.
Regarding the hotel – faultless! We actually spent much more time in the hotel than anticipated. Pool great, general SPA and course available were fab, and the paid SPA services were excellent. The Thai restaurant in the hotel was simply awesome. We ate there on the first and the last night.
We secured a room with lounge access. WOW!!! What a lounge! I’ve been a loyal IHG member for 25 years and this exceeded any executive lounge I’ve been "
"Everything about my stay was wonderful — from the attentive staff to the cleanliness and amenities, as well as the convenient location. I was especially impressed by the front desk staff member Anthony and the cleaning lady Winnie, who went above and beyond to ensure my comfort. The overall atmosphere was welcoming and well-maintained, making my visit very enjoyable. What stood out the most was the professionalism of the manager, Patricia. When I brought up a small issue regarding the placement of a water station in the lobby, she handled it swiftly and with great care. It was clear that the team is dedicated to providing excellent service. I truly wish I could have such outstanding staff at my own hotel. Everything ran smoothly throughout my stay, and I will definitely be coming back.
