Beautiful Hotel, gorgeous views they have done a nice job remodeling the rooms. Fireplaces and ocean views are lovely. The only issue is the check in is too late at 4pm and the check out is too early at 10am it is just not worth the price to stay at this hotel with that short of time to enjoy the room and property.

The area is very nice, ocean view and pine trees. The building lacks good sound proofing - you can hear people on both sides walking, like they are walking upstairs. The restaurant is closed on Mondays and Tuesdays and there no restaurants close-by. Parking is a bit far from rooms, so it's a walk up and down hills.

Excellent house in a wonderful location! Nestled behind gates at 17 mile drive at the end of beautiful culdesac. Prime location looking over treetops into Carmel Valley. Would definitely stay here again with the family!

"This very old vintage hotel has so much charm and is close to so many shops and dining options and relatively close to Cannery Row! The only thing I didn't like was the street noise as there's no air-conditioning so the windows are wide open and the garbage trucks are there at 6 AM!"
