This place is was an amazing experience. The only reason why I provided 4 stars instead of 5 was because the food is over priced for what is worth. We went to the wine restaurant, they didnt had a wine menu and the cups were dirty. The breakfast place charged $32 per person for a buffet that is basically the same as the typical continental breakfast. But the waterpark and beach were amazing!

The resort is beautiful. Staff is very friendly and helpful. We spent a few hours at the private island-water was warm. This is the only beach and you must ride the ferry there. The ferry ride is a bit rough. The food and drinks are very expensive and the resort is strict about outside foods. We had a bag of chips confiscated at the entrance to the water park. We did the breakfast buffet one morning, very typical buffet, nothing fancy, nothing extra-$136 for 4 adults! After this, we stuck with the cafe for breakfast. Overall, we enjoyed our time but suggest you dine (maybe not for all meals) outside the resort if you’re on a budget.

This property is gorgeous, amazing views and facilities. Palomino island is beautiful and coqui park was a lot of fun as well as nightly events. Prices at the restaurants and parking are high but staff are very nice and helpful

El Conquistador was a beautiful resort. It was my first time staying at this resort and I was amazed at how beautiful the grounds were and the great staff. I look forward to staying there again when I visit Puerto Rico. Thank you to staff for a great experience at El Conquistador.

The hotel room was ok, there were a few things missing when we got to the room, no shampoo, bathtub and sinks were clogged, phone didn’t have a cord so we can only used using speaker, items were addressed fairly fast but for a hotel that is fairly expensive it was shocking to find stuff like this. The hotel itself is very nice, different restaurant options.

Amazing views, large rooms, plenty of amenities, restaurants, Ventanas was very, very good for breakfast and dinner, 24hr coffee shop, plenty of pools and an amazing private island. Negatives now: $65 per day resort fee that is not disclosed, $16 per day parking fee, no shuttles from airport or to ferry, ridiculous laundry fees, attention to detail was missing, shower gel not mounted to wall, room a/c locked at a warm 68F, room cleaned well one day and the next not at all, elevator hand rail was just hanging one day, lights out, Cafe Bella Vista was not good at all, overpriced appetizers and not good pizza. Overall was very impressive property, with the exception of milking every last cent out of you.
