We were moved to a sister property due to issues at SJ Suites. Julia helped us get to the sister property (within walking distance) and helped us find our restaurant for the evening. She's was amazing!!

I actually was afraid after reading all the comments about these place but from my pov it was a good place to stay… everything was around and the staff was friendly

Room was large and clean. Good location. My only concern was the temperature in the room. There were no thermostats in the room and the air conditioning was on full blast. Informed front desk and they adjusted the my room temperature from a room in the closet at the end of the hallway. Would have preferred an individually climate-controlled room.

Sj suites has an unfortunate water main break abs covered us in a hostel in a pretty rough area of San Jose - I was not happy with the Bahia Urbana rooms were very small 3 flights of stairs and no elevator - no hot water

This is an older hotel but definitely served its purpose at this time taxi is only 25.00 for 2 people and 2 bags not bad. I was pleased with the size of the room not a closet and a window. Not a perfect view but it is Old Town. Hot water and ample towels etc. Clean sheets. Very nice front desk lady.

Wonderful location. Staff is very friendly. Fresh towels daily, trash emptied. Unfortunately, due to the street construction and loud late night parties on the street, it was difficult to sleep.
