During my recent stay at this hotel, I had a mixed experience. While the staff were great and made me feel welcome, there were several issues that detracted from my overall enjoyment of the stay.
One of the most significant issues was the high prices of food items in the lobby. The prices were marked up astronomically, with some items being sold for 3$ that cost only 13 cents wholesale, and other items that could be purchased for 3$ at a grocery store being sold for 18$. This left a bad taste in my mouth and seemed unfair.
Additionally, I encountered a language barrier with one staff member at the front desk which resulted in me receiving three sheets instead of the extra quilts that I had requested after I called ahead to avoid wasting time. While this was a minor inconvenience, it was still frustrating.
Another major issue was the outrageous cost of parking at the hotel, despite the lot not being even close to being filled. This was an unpleasant surprise that put a damper on my stay.
To make matters worse, I also discovered pubic hairs in the shower and body hairs in the sink, which was quite disturbing and left me questioning the overall cleanliness of the hotel. On top of that, the pull-out couch in my room was covered in food and body hairs, which was unsanitary and unacceptable.
I hope that the management takes steps to ensure that all aspects of the room are properly cleaned and maintained.
