The Element in Sedona is one of the best hotels I’ve enjoyed in this recent visit. The room itself was truly an eye opener. Large. Spacious. Well designed. Whomever designed payed attention to details that matter. Especially on the quiet/security side. A covered peep hole. A door bolt. Added door trim/insulation to block noise and light. The beds had the right amount of comfort and pillows! The showers!! Top notch. The cons. Noise echoes throughout open spaces. Check in was hard because it seemed everything was amplified. For Sedona… which came first the hotel or two story public storage building. That’s a total bummer!

We came back from dinner at 8:00pm and there was no parking. We had to park in a spot where you had to move your car by 7:30 am. My husband could not sleep peacefully because he was worried that our car would be towed

It was nice to have charging stations for EVs and the property had a really pleasant smell throughout. Continental breakfast was really tasty and there were many options. Would definitely stay here again.

Terrible experience since we arrived. Front desk really rude, pool was dirty, our room has dirty the bed sheets were not clean and looked like it was not even changed. We found a blood stain and ask for change. The nice old man came with new ones but said he didn’t know how to change it. Next morning my son woke up with bed bug bites all over his body. We notified the front desk that we were leaving and why . No one check on us and we still fighting the hotel with the charges.

I really liked the salt water pool and hot tub, and their breakfast is great. I liked how they try to be environmentally conscious. I liked the double curtain in the room; one would just cut down how darn bright the sunlight is, and the other made it really dark so we could sleep. Their gym is large and functional, they have a laundry room for guests, they appear to have excellent accommodations for people with disabilities (I have never seen a pool lift chair at a hotel pool!), and they are pet-friendly. The room we were in had a great kitchen, including the usual minifridge and microwave, but also dishes, silverware, a recycling bin, and a kitchen sink to wash the dishes. This was really nice! Since we always had leftovers from any restaurant we went to, we were able to being doggie bags back to our room, warm the food up and eat it for lunch the following day. It was nice to not waste food we paid for. The only negatives: I wish their pillows would actually support one's head/neck; they need more areas to dry things in the bathroom; I wish the shower didn't leak water onto the bathroom floor; and they need some kind of bell at the front desk to notify people in the back office that they have customers waiting.

This hotel was in an amazing location with wonderful views. I wish the views could be seen from the rooms. Close enough to walk to good restaurants. I would love to come back and spend more time in Sedona.
