"This turned out to be very nice. We didn’t not realize the bathroom was a pit toilet and there is no electric on the property. All this being said we really did like it. We slept well, the outdoor shower was awesome. Spent a lot less time on getting ready. A plus when you are going hiking anyway. The pit toilet is a pit toilet. All in all we enjoyed our stay."

"My sister and I planned this as part of our "week of adventures" get away and had a lovely stay. The location and check-in would have been perfect had we arrived during daylight hours, however due to airline cancellations and delays we arrived past dark. We loved staying here and would highly recommend, the river was perfect! Just know you are far into the countryside and not close to any markets so plan to be onsite during your stay. Sadly the trails listed are almost unusable as the roads were...

9.2 out of 10, Wonderful, (66)
"Nice location. Less than 30 min driving to General Grant Tree. Restaurant across street, food price is reasonable. Rest room, shower and cabin are separated. Rest room has a composting toilet, smell is expected but it’s truly environment friendly. From parking to cabin is unpaved which is fine. It would be ideal if the path from shower to cabin is paved though. Cabin itself is very cozy, and accommodated considerately with a mini fridge with a freezer compartment, an window ac unit which was on...
