Great Vacation

Very pleased with the overall stay. The hot tub wasn't as clean as I would like but we were so busy we didn't use it much. The cabin is very nice and the wifi was good. Saw others mention about the TV not working, once I figured out which of the 4 remotes to use it worked fine. Also the special promo they have set up for discount tickets to attractions was great! Will visit again.

Relaxing

The view was amazing and so peaceful. The showers had some mold in the bottom by the door we had to clean and there where lord of cobwebs and the deck needed to be cleaned on both levels

A very good cabin for vacation

We were 2 families having 4 kids. There was something for everybody to enjoy. The Pool table, arcade and Foosball were much enjoyed by the kids. The sofa converts into bed. This detail should be captured in the listing, it only says sleeping capacity is 10. The sofa bed weren't very comfortable but we only stayed for 2 nights, so not so bad.

An OK Stay

My family had an overall ok experience here. The stove didn't won't to work and heat properly. The loft bedroom was absolutely miserable during the day due to how hot it was outside. This property was nice but could use a few a updates!

Cabin is dirty. Need to do deep cleaning. Spider webs is inside house allover. Sofa bed dirty.

Overall good stay

Cabin was beautiful, clean, had everything we needed and Location was awesome. We did however have issues with the TVs not working and the hot tub continuously running with no way to shut off (Motor sounded like it would shut on and off over and over again) and also was unable to adjust temperature so it wasn’t very warm. We called three days (stayed 5 nights) in a row to ask for someone to come check it out since we got a cabin with a hot tub for a reason, no one ever came, never got a phone call back, received absolutely no response which was pretty disappointing.

Beautiful Cabin!

The cabin was beautiful. Cabin was clean and felt like home. It was a hot week and the ac worked perfect. The downstairs was freezing though, half way down the steps you could feel the drastic temp change. We seen a few bears in the area , one that walked right by our car past the house.We loved the arcade games and pool table. Only thing that was a little intimidating was the steep road getting to the cabin.Wouldn't want to drive up that during snow ! Overall we loved the area and cabin. Thank you for sharing your cabin with us ! We will definitly return !

Cozy Cabin

The cabin was just as in the listing. Check in and check out we’re smooth. We had no issues while we where there. The cabin is a little dusty but I know that with those high ceilings it’s difficult to get up there and clean. The bathrooms and bedrooms were clean and the game room was amazing for the kids. We cooked dinner and breakfast at the cabin which is equipped with pots, pans utensils etc. For those worried about the steep road, we are from Florida and we’re able to navigate just fine. After you do it once it’s easier as you know what to expect. We had no snow, can’t speak to the road in those conditions. Overall we had a great time and made great memories!

No matter ypur emergency they will not work with you

We ended up having a death in our family that was going to be attending our trip with us. We called to see if we could move the date and get any type of discount but they wouldn't work with us at all. I understand cancelation policies, but we still wanted to give them our buisness, just at a later date. I would like to be able to work with an owner that can sympathize and would be open to working with us as humans.

Adventure

The cabin was just as described. Very well decorated and clean. Had everything you would need for a great mountain stay. We stayed for thanksgiving week so for us Floridians it was cold the basement was very cold and at night the kids ended up with the parents and on the pullout couch on main floor. It worked and they had fun. The drive up to the cabin was scary. One way up and one way down with one lane. So if you up for an adventure that road is it. Would not want to do it in the snow. We planned our days so we only had to leave once and tried most days to make it back before dark because of the road up to the cabin. It’s close to everything so that was not hard to do. Over all we had a great week and made lots of fun memories.

DO NOT BOOK HERE

I’m not sure how this cabin is getting great reviews. This cabin is absolutely not being cleaned, it is infested in roaches. We saw roaches on the curtains upstairs and down stairs, in the sink, and one even crawled across my daughter’s pillow. The stairs are nasty, the base boards looks like they have never been touched, there is dust all up the walls. There was a HUGE spider on the wall. I have rented cabins for years in Pigeon Forge and have NEVER experienced this. This cabin is absolutely not being cleaned and maintained. I reported this after we left and they told me there is nothing they can do since we didn’t report it during our stay. As we saw this in the evening after hours. DO NOT EVEN CONSIDER SPENDING YOUR MONEY HERE! EXIT the screen now on this search.

Great weekend getaway

Super easy check-in, rental pretty much as described in the listing and was plenty big enough for our group of 7. The two times I spoke directly with the agency, the ladies were very nice. The cabin itself needs a really good dusting (which I know is hard to do in a log cabin.) I recommend bringing extra bed linens & pillows if you plan to use the pull-out sofas. Also hangers if you need to hang up your clothes (there aren’t any closets or chest of drawers, not an issue for me, but one person in our party likes to put their clothes away.) The two master bedrooms were nice. Beds were firm, but we slept great. Good water pressure (this is a problem I usually have because I have such thick hair) and we never ran out of hot water. Also, if you plan to use the grill, just know it’s one like you would see in a campground (so you’ll need charcoal and something to clean it with.) Great location close to town, but seems like you are in the middle of nowhere. Overall all we enjoyed our stay and would stay again.

I would recommend this cabin!

We stayed here for 8 days in May/June 2020. It is definitely a cabin that only needs to be booked in the months without snow. There are advisory warnings going up the mountain and there is one very steep hill to take before arriving. It 😊 is on a mountain, so you should already be keeping that in mind. The cabin was very clean and had everything we needed to cook and enjoy ourselves. The TV on the bottom floor had some issues with the remote, but it was fine because there are several other TVs and we just used them instead. There is only 1 central air conditioner in the house, but there are 3 floors and it makes the downstairs very cold to keep the upstairs cool. We didn't really use the down stairs except the pool table, so it was ok. It is mostly isolated, as far as this area can be. There are several cabins near, but they almost all have trees between them and this cabin so it makes it nice and separated. People are not right on top of you. Large tub in the master bedroom is wonderful, but it only holds one person. FYI. And the cabin has a large hot water tank, because I was able to use the large tub and then several of my children could take showers immediately afterwards. That was a great bonus because we have to time things out at home. Also this cabin is separated out that both bedrooms could be masters. There are bathrooms attached to both and both have great views and amenities. Hot tub was very nice and easy to use. Overall our stay was great and strongly recommend this cabin. Thanks!

Book elsewhere if you expect a clean property

Before booking this cabin (Curious Cubby Hollow, through Timber Tops & Amazing Views Cabin Rental), I read through all the reviews and did notice a theme about the cabin needing a deep clean. But since most of those were over a year old, I was hopeful that they had gotten the home deep cleaned and with a better cleaning company. Sadly, this was not the case so I am writing this review and including pictures of the issues we faced with the cabin. If I’m going to pay a $125 cleaning fee for a two-night stay, then the cabin should be clean when we arrive. Let’s begin with the kitchen. Take a look at what the cheap, plastic mini-blinds look like over the window above the kitchen sink. (I don’t even care about the cheap quality of the blinds; I care about the filth that covers them.) Not only are some cracked and broken, but they are covered in dirt, dust, and splatters from who knows what. The blinds were all the way up when we arrived but since it was dark, I closed the blinds for privacy. GROSS. This would probably be $15 bucks to replace with the same crappy quality blinds. Now glance under the kitchen island and take a peek at the “cookware storage.” I’m guessing this was a private property that was never really cleaned out properly before it went on the rental market because the amount of pots, pans, cutting boards, cookers, and the like that were crammed under this thing with no rhyme or reason was insane. Everything was greasy and . . .

Fall break

Made a quick trip down for a few nights on fall break. The kids loved the games in the basement. I have to mention that all of the light switches were labeled with what they went to, which we really liked. I would definitely stay here again.
