1st Time Expectations Exceeded
Location and directions were on point. Cabin was cozy and hot tub was amazing and clean. Might want to bring your own wash cloths or makeup remover item. Fire pit was nice but you will need 5.00 for wood. Bed was very comfortable and lots of pillows. No pet smells at all. Overall we loved it and will use this cabin in future.

Quiet family getaway
We really enjoyed our stay. The property is in a great location, beautiful view and close to the parkway. The cabin was a perfect size for our family of 3. The rental is pet friendly and the bedding had a strong dog odor from all the furry friends that have stayed. The sheets were clean and I changed out the comforter which helped reduce the smell. We liked the cozy fireplace and the pool table was a big hit. Overall it was a great place and we would stay again.

Loved it!
We loved this property! The seclusion from the town was perfect and the cabin itself was a dream! This property was absolutely perfect for us traveling with our small dogs because there was plenty of surrounding property for them to walk around and do their business. We would just sit under the deck on the porch swing or by the Fire pit and they could roam within our eyesight the whole time! Kitchen, bedroom, and loft were all perfect for us as well and we adored our time at this cabin. The reason for the 4/5 stars was because the hot tub was for sure not cleaned in a while and rather disgusting. Which was a huge disappointment since we were really looking forward to that part of our trip. Especially since the website says that they drain and clean the hot tubs on the property regularly after guest and that was not the case at all. The other reason was there was a lot of construction and all the noise to go with it going on right below the property with a new cabin being built. We were looking forward to sleeping in only to be woken up at 7:30 every morning to construction, the workers, and loud music. We know that this is not the fault of the cabin renters- but even at hotels there’s a warning to guests that construction nearby is going on so they’re warned ahead of time or given a discount. That being said; my husband and our corgis would 100% stay at this location again and overall enjoyed our trip!

Average
It’s not private and there is zero view. The hot tub was dirty and looked like stuff was wiped down quickly. Loved the fire pit area and the convenience to main roads.

All around enjoyable
The cabin is out of the way, but there is an adjacent property, and the windows carry sound quite well. If the guests there are loud you will hear them. If you book during the summer, the Dollywood resort has a fireworks display most evenings. It isn't totally visible but you will certainly hear it around 9:45pm and it lasts about 15 minutes. There was far more light pollution than I expected. I could only see the brightest stars on a clear night. The deck has a nice view of the mountain and excellent cover from the occasional downpour. Traveling up or down the mountain takes about 10 minutes from the main road. During winter months you will need special equipment. There is a hazardous, blind left turn you have to make to get out of the cabin's driveway without a mirror to see if anyone is coming. It's impossible to go very fast on the roads at least, but there's only about 30-40 feet between the bend and your car. The cabin has a driveway with enough space to turn around, which was very helpful, and not all of the cabins up there have this. Overall the cabin was quite enjoyable and relaxing.
