“One thing I didn't like was that since the last time we stayed there, they eliminated the coin vending machines that used to be located by the ice machines. Although we usually bring bottled soda along with us on our trips here, it's nice to have an alternative, although fairly expensive. Our only other option this time was to go down to the front desk and and pay $3 for a lousy 12 oz. can of soda, or go to either the bar and order a glass of soda, or go to the casino to get a small paper cup of……

“Rooms was full of musty smell.. hard to sleep in”

“The property is not maintained at all. Mold, mildew, bugs, dirty sheets and towels. Paid for 2 nights through Expedia and would not subject my family to the filth this place provided the second night. AC units do not cool down rooms and staff was not helpful or honest about the rooms. Since I booked with Expedia there was no cancellations or refund for the second night. Terrible experience with hotel and Expedia on compensation for the the hotel not holding up to acceptable staying conditions.”

“Considering the price, it was better than expected. Definitely outdated. It was mostly clean - some cobwebs on the back of the luggage holder and my white socks were not so white after our stay. Bed was comfortable. Worth it for the price.”

“Great location we could walk everywhere. The pool was closed though they should tell you that on line when you’re booking your room. Was very clean and the staff was very nice.”

“We enjoy the hotel for the unique style We have been there several times. This time the hotel is looking run down. Needs some updating. Rooms are clean and food delicious. Bar area needs updating”

“This is a gorgeous and unique place, in a historic neighborhood whose charm is second to none. Very glad we stayed there! The only drawback was the lack of breakfast which is apparently only on weekends. There should have been a first-rate coffee setup to make up for this, but supplies were short and there was no silverware. Also, no live television in the room, only youtube TV.”
