Needs better cleaning

Posted Aug 9, 2017 on Hotels
Its located near the airport but cleanliness could be improved. My room smelled like sewage, I am not a picky person, but this was a pretty bad smell. Asked for another room, and was just sent a spray for the smell.

Horrible customer service

Posted Jun 26, 2017 on Orbitz
Pros: i knew what to expect in the room.
Cons: customer service.
Location: Bajio (BJX) airport is 3 mins away.
No greeting at check in. When we were done checking in, I asked if breakfast was included. She mentioned yes but had no idea what was for breakfast "because she works swing shift and not morning shift". At check out there was NO thanks or anything at all. Really bad service.

DIRTY CARDBOARD BOX

Posted May 10, 2017
Pros: Proximity to the airport
Cons: Cleanliness
When I arrived the lobby floor was dirty, (someone has spilled some type of liquid) I was greeted by to very serious employees... not a problem. The receptionist look up my reservation and assigned me a room, I proceeded to the second floor room 203 the minute I opened the door I new something was not right because of the smell. the room has not been cleaned, I can back to the lobby and let the receptionist know about this issue she right away re-assigned me room 204 not before sending her associate to go and verified that "the room was cleaned" during this interaction not a single time neither of the 2 employees apologized for any of this. I went to my room and even though it look cleaned and organized... it wasn't. The floor was sticky, the pillows smelled funny (sweat), the bathroom towels had black spots on them and if this is not enough the walls are so thin that you can hear every single thing that was happening on the other rooms and aisle.

Short overnight stay

Posted Mar 11, 2017 on CheapTickets
Pros: Comfortable bed and clean bathroom
Cons: Food quality and front desk organization
Location: Close to airport
Arrived at airport late at night after a long day of travel (international flight with 2 stopovers), so we needed a place close to airport to shower and rest before driving 2 hrs to our final vacation destination. We prepaid online, and receptionist had difficulty locating reservation even with being shown the confirmed reservation. Having missed dinner we needed a bite to eat, so ordered a couple sandwiches via room service. Not very good at all. At checkout next morning, the bill for that room service couldn't be located, so checkout took a while. Staff very pleasant, however.

Disappointing Stay ...

Posted Feb 24, 2017
Pros: The price was good and the hotel was relatively near the airport.
Cons: Staff competence/customer service. Toiletries and Room Amenities. And WiFi.
Location: While relatively close to the airport, there is nothing within half a mile from the hotel. This includes restaurants, shops, and grocery stores.
My regrettable experience started with the two front desk receptionists ignoring me as I approached the front desk to check in. It would be understandable if they were busy helping other customers, though besides myself, the two receptionists, and the hotel's security guard, the lobby was vacant. Appearing preoccupied by some sort of administrative paperwork, I figured it was safe to assume they'd stop and acknowledge me when they reached a breaking point in their work. Instead after a minute or two passed, a customer approached the front desk and was immediately acknowledged and entertained by both receptionists, as they stopped what they were doing and immediately started helping him. It wasn't until a second customer approached the front desk and was also acknowledge that I grunted noticeably to show my displeasement. Both receptions immediately turned their heads to look at me. I said, "I'm waiting..." and then they went back to finish helping the two customers before they helped me. The next negative experience occurred with the receptionist giving me a hotel room that was being clearly out of service. It looked like they were upgrading and/or modernizing, painting the room. After finally being given a room that was actually occupiable, I wasn't able to log onto the internet. Then after going downstairs and finally being able to log-on, the signal was weak. My room had one small bottle of water and one bar of soap. No shampoo or other amenities.
