A short trip

I was only staying in Split for a few days and the location was great for walking around. The grocery store is close by and it was a short walk to all the main tourist attractions. Frane was also a great help!

Great location, and quiet. Kitchen equipment was great. A little on the dark side. Steep spiral stairs to the bedroom and bathroom. Overall a good vibe.

Small but mighty

Has everything you need very thoughtfully furnished with everything you need. Decor is very nice. The host was very accommodating and set up a second bed for us with no advance notice and communication was clear. Host provided a map and an orientation to the area - very helpful

Another great stay in Split

Second year to stay here, and wonderful as usual. The apartment was spotless and so well appointed. Great quiet street just 5 minutes walk from the Old Town. Looking forward to going back next year!

Great Property and Host

The property couldn't be in a better location. Just minutes and walking distance to so many things you'll be doing in Split. Frane was also a great host, with great communication and fast responses. The property is clean and well stocked. If I ever come back to Split I'll try to stay at Frane's place again.

Americans first time in croatia

This property was well designed, convenient, and had a great location. It is a quick and easy and beautiful walk to the palace. The first night we ate at a great restaurant recommended by the host that was a 5 minute walk away. The other days we checked out the palace and the solin ruins, and got groceries at the local green market and made ourselves dinners. The place was well equipped for cooking and we quite enjoyed our stay!

Wonderful apartment for a solo traveler or couple!

Wow, what an excellent place to stay near old town Split! As this being my first time traveling solo, Frane made me feel comfortable immediately upon arriving! He was gracious enough to pick me up at the airport and give me a lot of useful information related to my stay! The neighborhood that the apartment is located is very old and amazing! I felt very welcome and safe by everyone I came across while exploring. I recommend Frane’s apartment to anyone traveling solo or a couple traveling to Split!

Amazing host!

The hardest part of Split is the parking. The host, Frane, was amazing! He provided us copies of where to park before we arrived and met us at check in. He took the time to explain where everything was and was incredibly helpful. The location was perfect, everything was within walking distance. It is a perfect size for 1-2 people. Thank you Frane!

A quick visit

A quick city break in Split, one of my favourite places to visit, with a mate who'd never been there. The location of the apartment was superb, just outside of the port and main tourist parts of the city. Great pre arrival communication from the owner and despite it being an evening of celebration in the city he kept true to his word and met us at the apartment, talked us through how the boiler, shower etc all worked, pointed out places on the map that were "must see" parts of the city and gave us some top tips on how to get around.......there was even water, milk and beer in the fridge for us. Both beds were made up for us and were very comfortable. The whole apartment was fantastic!Would I stay there again and would I recommend it to others....YES and absolutely 100%. I just hope that on my next visit to Split, and there will be a next visit, that this apartment is available. Many thanks to the owner for making our stay a good one.

Stay in Split

This property was exactly as listed. We had no trouble checking in at all. The location was just perfect for us as it is within walking distance of the marketplace and the marina. Frane was very responsive and gave us a few pointers of where certain places were located. The apartment was clean and included all amenities listed, as well as other necessities such as kitchenware, laundry soap, etc. We even got the bonus of some fresh fruit, bottled water and a few beers. Fantastic place, fantastic host and an overall perfect location! I highly recommend this listing!

Convenient Location, Excellent Host

My husband and I stayed in Split for two nights. The apartment was very clean and well stocked! Frane had water both sparkling and distilled, cookies, oranges, and bananas for us. It is conveniently located to the palace. It was just a few minutes walk. Frane Meadows early to allow us to put our luggage inside the apartment so we didn't have to carry it around all day. He even helped us arrange for a cab when we left. He is a wonderful house who communicates very well. I would highly recommend a stay here if you are in Split!

Great place!

Stayed 3 nights in Split and this place was ideal for me and another family member. It’s far enough from the hustle and bustle of city center but walking distance to it, the Riva, and Bacvice beach. It’s on a pedestrian only zone. The host, Frane, was quick to respond to our inquiries. He met us at check in and showed us the place, gave us a map and showed where points of interests are from the apartment. The apartment was well stocked with kitchen, laundry, and bathroom amenities for our stay for 2 people. He even had a welcome gift for us — fruits, Croatian biscuits, bottled waters (1 still, 1 sparkling), and a couple of Croatian beer! I highly recommend this place! Great for 2 people!

Split fun

Our host was so responsive and helpful with specific details about parking and getting in. He even went out of his way to bring us a Euro adaptor and give us some tips to make the most of our visit. The location was perfect and within walking distance to ferries, food, and fun. The local farmers market was a perfect spot to grab some fresh produce or even some delicious meats. Walk to the ferry in 5 minutes and be on your way to a new island adventure. Brach was amazing and the people, so friendly. The home was comfortable and the bed was firm but not too firm, it was perfect. The kitchen was well equipped and I was able to prepare a meal easily if we wanted to save some money eating in. We would definitely come back to see Frane again on our next Croatia holiday.

Great location!

We loved this place! It was close enough for a daily walk to the city center but far enough to not be within the hustle and bustle. Our host, Frane, met us upon check-in and answered all of our questions. Our stay was for 6 nights. As we went about our normal routines, we have found that Frane has equipped this apartment with most things that we might need or find useful. We had coffee, water, fruit, even some cookies. The kitchen has the regular plates, silverware, glasses, cups, but even a juicer so we can make use of the oranges he left for us. There is laundry detergent, a clothes drying rack, plastic bags, and other items that you don't think you will need, but comes up in the course of the day. Definitely recommend this listing!

Perfection.

The Cute Apartment, is exactly that! It is as pictured, and described, but more. The neighbourhood is so quaint and dreamy, with a very interesting history we learned while visiting. The apartment is so clean, well stocked and located within walking distance to everything you will want to visit or need. Frane went above and beyond to ensure we were comfortable. He was informative in providing us with a map and answering all of our questions regarding local happenings that we were most interested in while also sharing his favourite day to day locations within the city. He was very quick to respond when we reached out to him for guidance throughout our stay, and we truly felt taken care of whlie we called Split home. Frane felt like an old friend, which helped making our stay in a new place all the more memorable. I plan to return one day in the near future, and I hope this little gem of a place will be available when I do. Thank you, Sabrina.
