NEVER EVER COME TO THIS HOTEL. I paid overprice for 4th of July and the hotel is not worthy for the price. In addition, my car was crashed in the hotel parking lot and the hotel did not take any responsibility. A golf car was park next to my car in a prohibited zone and the hotel did not care for anything. First thing the said was that hotel is NOT responsible for damages even thought out car was parked inside of the premises, they don’t have survelliance cameras because they stated that it’s against the law which make truly NO sense to us. We were parked at one of the resort rear entrance that has a massive traffic of people in and out and to my knowledge there should be cameras around common areas such as the one we are parked. We did NOT get any assistance from the hotel staff other than to called the police and gave us sealed with the situation, no one even care to take a walk outside to look at the car damage. We felt neglect by the hotel staff. This is the worst hotel you can choose for vacation. Beach is extremely far from the hotel, beach towels are not available easy.

I sincerely apologize your car was damaged during your visit and that our actions did not meet your expectations. The statement about cameras being illegal was not accurate. The fact the cameras are not constantly monitored, but instead are used for replay as needed is the reason we do not have them in our 4 different parking lots. We did call the police as you requested and because they responded immediately the staff member believed they would handle the investigation. As with all open parking lots we cannot be responsible for damage with unknown causes. We should have been more empathic to the situation and again i apologize it was not handled better.

It's our 3rd time here and we like it but the only thing is the housekeeping carts have iron wheels and they make a lot of noise from 6 am and you can't sleep, put rubber on them.

I'm already staying at this resort since 2012, and this was the worst night ever. We didn't sleep the whole night because of the extreme noise in the hallway. There were ventilators or something else making a real hard noise. I asked for a room as high as possible, and you gave me one on the second floor with the extreme noise. I understand that you cannot guarantee a room on a certain floor, but if you pay this kind of money for a 4 star resort, you expect a room where you can sleep during the whole night. And when you tell about your complaint at the front desk and in a e-mail, you expect that they can do something to compensate the bad night. But the front desk could only compensate us the $39 resort fee. On a total of $355,- I know you could do much better on this. Hope you understand us in this matter, and keep your quality, service and after sales on a high level for the future. In that case people will come back.

The resort cannot control noise level from street and band music after 9:00 pm.

Thank you for the great rating. The City noise ordinance is for 10pm. We stop our music by that time and work with our neighbor across the street to regulate theirs. Unfortunately, they sometimes prop their doors open and it affects the noise levels. We call them when we are award of this. We hope you can come back soon.

Convenient setting with great beach, pool, and restaurant. Sloppy Joe's is a great attraction with good food. It would be nice if beach towels and chairs were closer to Palms building.

Everything at the Bilmar was AMAZING!!! We were vacationing from Illinois & my daughter was turning 10 while we were at the resort, Heather, the evening manager, decorated our room for us so when we arrived my daughter was so surprised! She even got her a little cake! The resort itself is beautiful and there is so much to do right there! We are definitely going back!!!

Beachfront was well equipped with chairs, fire pits, and games. Location is central to shops and restaurants. Property was under renovation so there was construction noise. Overall, a good experience. Will go back.

Housekeeping did not restock our room. We had to call and have them bring us items we needed to have restocked. The sheets were not changed the whole week we were there. The baseboards in the rooms need to be wiped down and scrubbed. Antibacterial hand soap should be provided in the room bathrooms. Our fridge had a small freezer in it which was nice until it stopped working and all our frozen and cold items went bad. Maintenance came and replaced it with a much small fridge and no freezer. The front desk had no record of the fridge being replaced and had nothing nice to say when I told them that our food went bad in result. The elevators are junk and doors close very slow. My kids got stuck in one and had to call for help. The pool by Sloppy Joes should provide towels, only the pool by Waves had towels. Other then that the view was beautiful and staff was friendly

We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience caused by some equipment malfunctions and for limited housekeeping service. We should attend to each room daily with complete sheet change after 3 nights unless there is a do not disturb on the door... We will use your input to improve our operations.

The outside of property was dirty. Broken chairs and old pool towels laying around for days. The bar across the street was very loud till after 11 pm. Good food, drinks, and service at Sloppy joes.

We apologize for the inconvenience of the emergency concrete repair to the middle building you stayed in. Work was supposed to be done by the end of February and several delays extended it into season. We regret the ice machine detracted from your experience.

This is our second time staying at the Bilmar and we like that it is centrally located. The hotel is on the beach and has a restaurant downstairs for quick breakfast,lunch or dinner. You can walk across the street to the grocery store to pick up things to store in the fridge provided in room. As well as the wide range of restaurants within a couple min drive/walk from the location.

My wife and I enjoyed our stay from March 4-7th. We had a 3rd floor room facing the ocean and it was modest but clean and comfortable. AC, TV, refrigerator, cooktop all worked well. We would have preferred they recycle but they don't. The pool area is nice but small for the number of guests. The free beach chairs and towels were a really nice amenity, thanks for that. I would recommend the Bilmar.

Terry, thank you for the good rating and input from your recent stay. We have begun putting recycle bins in a couple of areas around the resort and will expand it as soon as are sure the proper items are being disposed of. Our commercial debris is recycled with a large container at each end of the property. We are limited with our available pool areas but try to keep chairs and activities available on the sundeck and beach area. We hope you can come back soon.

We regret the features and amenities in the Premium Beachfront Studio you stayed in did not meet your expectations. We are in peak spring season so the room rate is higher than other times of the year but very competitive with the surrounding area. We hope you will consider giving us another opportunity in the future to exceed your expectations.

When I arrived, I was told I received a free upgrade of a room with a balcony. Turns out they just stuck me in a room without a beach view (my reason for being here) that was ground level near a noisy restaurant. Definitely not an upgrade. I feel grifted.

We sincerely apologize the Studio you were moved to did not meet your expectations. With a balcony and kitchenette most consider this an upgrade. It was on the raised 1st level overlooking the pool before the beach so i regret that detracted from your stay.

Beautiful location, nicely updated rooms. Property is still under renovation. Nighttime noise a little loud at times with live music. Overall had a great stay and would return! One suggestion would be to offer umbrellas for the beach for customers.

We tried providing umbrellas for our guests to go with the beach chairs we have available but they City requested we discontinue that due to several blowing away. The beach service at water's edge has them available to rent and uses an auger tool to bury them properly. Please come back soon.

It’s an older property that has some nice updates and is being renovated as there is some construction happening currently. It’s conveniently located to several bars and restaurants and the beach is steps away. The boardwalk is concrete and is an enjoyable stroll. Mostly a great adult party area with sloppy Joe’s and Ricky T’s next door but kids were around enjoying the pool and beach fun. Treasure Island is an incredible place and John’s pass down the road is awesome for shopping and lots of dining choices. We had a good time 😊
