“We came to Suffolk to do some family tree research and Orford was a great place to stay. Although there wasn't dedicated parking, there was always plenty of space in the market square. The village itself is a lovely place to stay, with plenty of places to walk and explore. The cottage was clean and comfortable, and well equipped. ”

“Some issues with this property, disherwash door & shower door broken, was resolved the same day. Inside windows are very dirty. Rest of house clean. It has 2 bathrooms one upstairs and one down stairs with a bath under the stairs. Doesn’t say it’s downstairs we assumed both were upstairs. Wi-Fi virtually non existent signal on and off during the day NO signal in the evening. Was reported but nothing was done about it, needs a provider with a good signal. “The property is in an excellent position, close to shops, restaurants and the beach, there was parking outside. The bedding and bathrooms were clean however the carpets and upholstery was very stained/dirty. The fridge door was difficult to open as it has no handle, I realise it didn't quite fit into the space but even a stick on handle on the door would have helped. “Ideal quiet location with country walks on doorstep. Nice biscuits for arrival with lovely fluffy towels and house facilities needed for our stay. “Granary Barn is very comfortable, family-friendly with lots of room to spread out and plenty of bathrooms, and has a nicely stocked kitchen. The location is quiet and peaceful with footpaths nearby. The washing machine and WiFi were really helpful. Great Thai and Indian restaurants within a 5-minute drive. Definitely use the coordinates given to find the property and to provide to grocery delivery services. ”

"My experience at this hotel was disappointing. I chose it for one specific reason: the pool and spa, so I could enjoy some time with my 3-year-old son. But when we went to the area, we were told that children are not allowed. This crucial restriction, which should be clearly stated at the time of booking, completely undermined the purpose of our stay. The rooms are basic and dated. The mattress was so soft it affected the quality of sleep, and the overall condition of the accommodation feels worn out. Breakfast was another letdown: they didn’t even have bread — something simple, inexpensive, and essential in any decent buffet. The only positive point is the staff. They were polite, friendly, and attentive. Unfortunately, that alone doesn’t make up for the rest. Overall, I don’t recommend this hotel and I won’t be returning."
