"Staff were very friendly and helpful, the hotel is is pretty new clean and very close to the station. Did not use the onsen but looks very nice. We would definitely stay again if in the area. Short 10 minute walak to the main area with loads of restaurants and shops."

"Customer service was excellent. I was so tired from my day that I slept right past my private onsen reservation, but they adjusted the time so that I could have my first onsen experience. A very nice hotel.
ありがとうございました!"

"We enjoyed a three night stay while touring the greater Gifu area.
The hotel is a bit older but is very well maintained. Everything is spotless, like most places in Japan. Comfortable room, including its size, bed/bedding.
Very good breakfast value. Most importantly a real automatic European coffee maker with a strong roasted bean. And it’s available for free all day. "

"We really enjoyed this hotel. It was very convenient as we are using trains and buses. The onsen was great! Front desk staff was very accommodating! We highly recommend this hotel. "
"This is a lovely traditional ryokan with friendly and attentive staff. They went out of their way to answer a question we had on the origin of one of their architectural features. The breakfast was generous and tasty (we had the Japanese set). The onsen was relaxing and well equipped. The clientele when we stayed there in October was mostly foreign, so they provided extra explanation upon arrival and offered assistance as needed. The lobby was nice in the evening with complementary tea and sake tasting, with plenty of seating to relax and enjoy. Also, can’t beat the location - close to the train station and walking distance to many shops, restaurants, and the historic district. "
"This hotel is beautifully decorated, the staff were helpful but very busy as the hotel was full. The highlight was the onsen - a relaxing, peaceful space on the rooftop. "
