“Location was great. Near to restaurants and close to Grant's Farm, where we had an event to attend. I liked that they had complimentary toiletries and other items readily available in an area near the lobby for guests. Included free breakfast was nice with many options (scrambled eggs, sausage, biscuits and gravy, make-your-own waffles, cereal, toast, bagels, pastries, donut holes, coffee, juice, milk, etc.). “Staying at this place was an experience in a way I have not had at the interstate motels. The Embassy was elegant and everyone was very friendly. The breakfast was fantastic with good hot food and fresh fruit like pineapple and watermelon chunks. You could even have an omelet made to order. The evening hospitality was in a nice comfortable area and a pleasant way to step away from the room without leaving the hotel. “The hotel room was very spacious, clean, and beautiful. The views from the window were also really nice. I also appreciated the friendliness of the staff as they always greeted us every time we left and came back to the hotel. “Beautiful hotel with onsite restaurant, bar and coffee/breakfast shop. Historic building in downtown St. Louis in walking distance to City Museum, soccer, hockey and baseball stadiums, union station. Very nice room with comfortable bed and spacious bathroom. We did not eat at restaurant but hostess, Meg, was very friendly. The bar was great - bartender was knowledgeable and attentive (young man).
