We had a lovely stay at the Crooked Oak Lodge. The house is a great size for a large family, well stocked kitchen, has golf in the community, lake access, solid WiFi, and is close to several activities. The pool guys came every day and were very responsive when we had a pool issue. We did have two house issues. The pool is set at 84 degrees. Some may not care but we thought it was cold. We have stayed at several properties where the pool could be heated more (for additional cost) and it makes for more use of the pool. We were told by the rental company this was not an option. The fireplaces were wonderful except the one in the living room never worked and despite a work order placed on our first day, it was not repaired before we left. On chilly nights (we had a few) this would have been nice. Overall I recommend the house and the location.

Great place, comfortable for our group of 16. 8 bedrooms, each with their own full bathroom, and 2 convenient half-baths to spare. Location is lovely with convenient, free access to 9-hole golf course and a nice view.

Great Location and Pristine

We had an incredible stay at this beautiful home! The property is spacious, clean, and thoughtfully laid out — perfect for a team retreat, family gathering, or a weekend with friends. The kitchen was well-stocked and easily handled multiple meals, and the open-concept living space made it easy to relax and connect as a group.The game room and billiards table were huge hits, and the outdoor space was just as impressive — private, peaceful, and ideal for grilling and hanging out. Beds were comfortable, bathrooms were spotless, and everything worked exactly as expected.The location is stunning and serene, with easy access to the lake, trails, and other activities. We would absolutely stay here again and recommend it to any group looking for a relaxing and well-equipped getaway. Thanks for a memorable experience!

A Great Family Stay

We stayed here for 10 days and spent a wonderful time with our extended family. The views are great, pool was awesome; hot tub relaxing, fire bowl; LOTS of games. Bathrooms in every room made this so easy for a variety of ages. Huge kitchen perfect for big dinners. So much space and a peaceful setting. The property is really new. Very, very clean. We did not have a dock but knew it wasn’t a need for this trip. Close to amenities, about a 10 min drive. Kids, teens, and adults loved the indoor pool & pool table. Not in the woods, but a very peaceful setting. Two dishwashers!!! Loved that with our big group.
