Although Takachiho is a very small and quaint little town in the mountain countryside, this hotel is a gem. Service, quality and amenities beats many hotels in cities across Japan.

Girls trip and self-drive

The service staff is very helpful. We bought wine and watermelon and asked if we can have wine opener and knife to cut but they offer to help us instead, the service staff even provided wine glass and put the cut watermelon on a platter with presentation. What excellent services. The hotel is very comfortable with good mountain view in the morning. Reasonable breakfast spread too.

We stayed in a standard room which was a bit disappointing compared to the ambiance of the rest of the hotel. The air con was a bit hard to regulate and the staff wasn’t super friendly upon arrival. Overall a solid place to stay for one night!

◾️改善点 一泊1人素泊まりで3万円超と値段が高いのにスタッフのサービスは安いビジネスホテル並み（あるいはそれ以下）。前日に一泊6千円くらいのホテルに滞在したが、そちらの方がサービスが良かった。 まだ新しいホテルのようなので仕方ないかもだが、人によってサービスクオリティに差がありすぎる。（挨拶、チェックイン時の案内など） 部屋も要所要所で使い勝手が悪くて設計がお客様視点に立ててない。 高いのにまさかのアメニティの中にボディタオルがなかった。（前日の6千円のホテルにはあった） バスルームの天井に黒カビがあった。掃除が行き届いてないのだろうか。 値段が半額くらいなら全部許容範囲。 ◾️良かった点 立地は素晴らしい。 高千穂神社の夜神楽のための座布団を貸してくれた。 基本的には新しい施設なので、新しさを感じた。 せっかく素晴らしい立体に新しい施設なので、スタッフの教育を頑張って欲しい。
