"When I arrived at hotel, staff greeted me quickly and cheerfully. It was an easy registration and they got to me to my room quickly so I could start enjoying Albania. The staff was amazing my entire stay. Greeting me upon my return in the evenings, ensuring I have breakfast on early morning excursions and helping me secure transportation to the airport. Breakfast was decent but the restaurant served really good food. I recommend the Caesar salad and the Biscoff cheesecake. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and fully stocked with everything I needed. They brought me extra hangers when I asked. They helped me deal with an already engaged room safe. The spa area was nice. The pool area was a little loud cause it is indoors and allows children. I had 4 spa services while there because they were reasonably priced and I swear I had the best massage of my life the last day before checking out. It was with male masseuse. I didn’t get his name, but holy cow he was fabulous. They allowed me to check out later (for a fee) because my flight wasn’t till that evening. The location is not too bad. I would probably say this is the one downfall. All of my excursions pick me up about three minutes away from the hotel. It’s not really part of the city center so there wasn’t a lot of options for nightlife, but all my excursions kept me out until 10 11 o’clock at night anyways."

"Unbeatable Convenience & Spacious Rooms, But Room for Process Improveme I stayed at the Tirana Airport Hotel, and the standout feature is hands-down the convenience factor. You literally walk right out of the airport terminal, stroll straight through the taxi stand, and the hotel is right there—zero need to arrange or pay for a cab after a flight. A few details to note from my stay: Location & Walkability: Perfect for travelers needing proximity. It could not be easier to reach on foot right after landing. Check-in Experience: We experienced a delay during check-in because crew members (pilots/flight attendants) were given priority over guests who were already waiting in line. While I completely understand and respect professional courtesy for flight crews, this wasn't explained to us at the time, which led to some initial confusion and frustration. Clear communication from the front desk here would go a long way. The Room: I'm not sure if there are newer vs. older wings, but our room felt relatively bland in terms of style and decor. That said, it was extremely comfortable and massive—more than accommodating enough for the four of us to stay comfortably. Breakfast: The morning breakfast spread was great—traditional options, incredible fresh juices, and classic cafe selections to start the day. Overall, it offers decent value for what you pay, purely driven by the top-tier location and sheer space. I would stay here again for a layover or quick airport transition!"

"Hi Toric Hotel, this my best trip ever, my stay in Albania at the toric hotel was the best,never experienced this good customer service before, the hotel is the best, starting from the manager down to all the staffs very very excellent, their kindness and hospitality was super great, the manager even drove us most time, including the man that took us to Vlorë very very nice, and the other man driving us too, honestly speak if you’re in Albania that’s the best hotel you can ever stay, recommending them to all my friends and family. "I had a wonderful stay at Meliá Durrës. The rooms were spacious, modern, and spotless, and the cleanliness across the whole resort was outstanding. Staff were friendly and helpful throughout, and the pools were beautiful and well maintained. The beach was peaceful and perfect for a relaxing holiday. Unfortunately, the food fell short of the rest of the experience and didn't quite match the high standards set elsewhere in the resort. A few improvements in the dining options would make this a truly five-star stay."

"The value for money for this hotel is unmatched. For the prices paid, the amenities, room sizes, daily cleans, included breakfast, welcome drink, couldn't be met. Staff were also very friendly and helpful. We arrived after a long delay and 24hr reception meant it wasn't an issue, they helped booked taxis when needed and even sorted a ripped bank note. This isn't a 5* hotel but you're not paying 5* prices. We found it to be above basic and everything we needed our stay. Having a pool was great and we didnt see many hotels near Tirana with one. One thing and we knew when booking is that this resort is in the middle of nowhere. There is a shopping centre maybe 10min walk down the sides of the motorway but anything else you need a car. We knew this when booking so was fine for us. A taxi from the airport was €20/2000Lek and then around €10/15 to Tirana city depending on time of day and area. We also got a taxi to Durres and that was €30/35. Most places prefer cash or only take cash. We paid cash at the hotel for food and drinks. Worth getting Lek out at the aiport (loads of ATMs) and as it charges for withdrawal better to draw out a large amount."
