Riverside Villa - Gran casa moderna a orillas del río Waikato

Riverside Villa lo tiene todo! Esta casa de vacaciones de 4 dormitorios y 3 baños en Taupo tiene wifi gratis y Sky TV, es una base ideal para toda la familia. Ubicado en el borde del río Waikato, incluso tiene su propio embarcadero privado, esta casa bien equipada es un refugio ideal para su escapada a Taupo.

La casa de 2 pisos tiene una espaciosa sala de estar de planta abierta con vistas al río. Disfruta de una vida fácil en interiores / exteriores en el clima más cálido. Ambas habitaciones 1 y 2 están ubicadas arriba y están equipadas con nuevas camas super king - la principal incluye un baño privado y acceso al balcón. El dormitorio 3 está abajo del salón y también incluye una nueva cama super king y el dormitorio 4 está abajo y está equipado con 2 camas individuales. También se encuentra abajo un segundo salón que incluye 2 camas de día. Además del baño hay otros 2 baños, 1 arriba y 1 abajo. Cada baño tiene una ducha, y adicionalmente un baño tiene una bañera. Para su comodidad, la ropa de cama está incluida en la tarifa de limpieza. Cuando no esté descansando junto al río, el centro de Taupo se encuentra a poca distancia en automóvil para salir a cenar o explorar.

Return Engagement and Glad of it

My wife and I stayed here with friends in 2019 and were delighted to return with another couple in March of 2024. The view from the deck is just stunning, the beds comfortable, the kitchen well equipped, the neighborhood quiet, and get this: two washers and two dryers, so no waiting! Polled the crew and no one could think of any negatives. As good as any vrbo we've ever rented, and we rent plenty.

Overall good stay tainted by petty additional rubbish charge after already paying cleaning fee.

The property is in a great location and very roomy however is dated. We were there for the Taupo bike race so were eating out mostly, you would need to bring all staples with you if wanting to eat in, however a nespresso machine with capsules was provided which was appreciated. But what got our goat the most was an additional charge afterwards for rubbish removal. Apparently this was buried in some T&C's somewhere but I couldn't find it in any online communications we got. No it was not a huge amount but after already paying a significant amount a night plus the compulsory cleaning fee and giving the house a good clean including putting all the rubbish in bins we felt it unnecessary and disingenuous. We left on a Sunday so obviously not rubbish day and clearly we didn't want to travel 4 hours with bags of rubbish or worse dump it on the side of the road. In future we'll be booking a hotel.

Family reunion

The house was gorgeous and large. The outdoor area was very nice. Unfortunately there were no toiletries or flanettes, or bathmats provided. And the bathrooms could have been cleaner. We were told we had to take all our rubbish away with us after having paid a hefty cleaning fee and a very large booking fee. Not very fair.

Luxurious Stay

This was such a wonderful place to spend the weekend. Spacious, modern, close to town, and a picturesque view, from the balcony, of the Waikato River. A large property going right down to the river makes for a nice evening stroll. 😀 A very enjoyable stay. Thank you.

School Reunion Catch up

We were a small group of old friends (5) wanting to have a catch up weekend. The house was great as it allowed us to spend a lot of time together and having a kitchen could have the option to prepare simple meals. Location was great, handy to town. I was surprised how quiet the house was, very peaceful at night. We loved being able to wander down to the river and have a swim. We also had stand up paddle boards so it was perfect to launch from the property and SUP into the marina and get a coffee! (Sip coffee cart is excellent)

A great place to stay in Taupo

Five adults enjoyed the weekend in this large comfortable property. We were close to town and the proximity to the water and marina views were also greatly appreciated. Rubbish bags, teatowels and entering/ exiting through the automatic gates before they close are the only things that we could advise prospective guests to be aware of when booking this property!
