“The staff at Garden Island Resort are all so lovely and caring. The gardens at the front of the building are beautiful. The location is not great for snorkeling right from the resort though amazing diving and snorkelling is available close by. The pool is directly underneath a cauldron of bats, not 1-2 bats but close to 100. The bats are screeching constantly throughout the day and there are bat droppings on the pool deck. There are few close amenities and not much within walking distance....

“This is a great place to stay with a great family. We felt welcome from the moment we arrived, had a wonderful easy time and were very sorry to leave. This isn't a hotel or resort - it's a homestay and we really felt at home. Jale, Nita, Sia and Jima are creative, interesting and generally exceptional people and perfect hosts. “The unit, property and services were simply breathtaking. Great location. We were picked up at the airport, brought to the property, checked in and sitting in the unit all within 15 minutes. The amenities from the resort are easy to use and everyone was very helpful. The unit and grounds were immaculate. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would recommend this property to anyone staying in Taveuni.”
