Great cozy cabin

Perfect little cabin for a getaway to the woods. Very clean and well kept. Loved the porches, listening to the creek and having a family of deer visit each day.

Great place to relax

The house is adorable. Plenty of places to relax or enjoy family time. Loved using the firpit and listening to the creek at night. Enjoyed getting in the hot tub when it got chilly out. Overall great stay!

Our favorite spot!

This is our second stay at this charming log cabin. We come up to visit our son and this spot is perfect. We love the two porches, especially the screened porch which overlooks the creek, and we often see deer strolling through the woods. The cabin has everything you need, including very comfortable beds!

Peaceful mountain cabin

This is a wonderful cabin with all the amenities. Our favorite features are the two porches and the comfortable beds. Being able to sit on either porch and see deer and listen to the creek was so relaxing. My only suggestion is to have wine glasses available.

Family trip

Myself, my husband, our oldest daughter and her family (total of 6 of us) stayed here from a Thursday to a Sunday. The property was just as listed, clean, had mostly everything we needed and in a nice neighborhood, not far from lots of fun places. We went to Mystery Hill and Tweetsie RR. Everything went smoothly and we all had a great time! Would definitely recommend and would definitely come back!

Relaxing Getaway

A trip on a whim! Cozy cabin! Babbling creek in the back yard. Great location to explore from. Only wish I could have watched my Braves both days but one is better than none and the peaceful location made it insignificant. Saw deer all over the place including on the road in front of the cabin, a baby fawn and it’s mother. Check out the food and service at CRAFT BISTRO. We went twice and the local farmers markets had a great variety of produce and crafts, including meat. We are definitely coming back.

Have to say that the pictures of the downstairs were a little misleading and that area is tight. Fine for the 2 of us, but be aware that 4 adults may feel crowded. There are also a number of other rental close by. Outdoor fire pit was very nice and location is an easy distance to Boone or West Jefferson

It's not all the bells and whistles but it was exactly what we were looking for. Set in the woods, quiet, serene, near a creek. Hot tub and tons of wildlife to see and enjoy(a family of 5 deer approached as we were on the porch) Off the beaten path. Well set up, layout was great and bed was comfortable. It was easy to get to as well and we loved how cozy it was. Nice porch to enjoy coffee on and a true "old school" feel. It was perfect for our couples getaway. Customer service and communication were phenomenal!

Overall property was not clean at all and included cobwebs everywhere and unclean toilets. Many of the amenities such as glasses and bowls were either cracked or just not there. Again, had numerous great stays at this property. Unfortunately this was not one of them. Property Management group was exceptional as always.

I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: It was a very nice long weekend. The cabin was cozy. Only a few recommendations: Need more bowls(4), wine glasses(3), and plates(4). Need a trash can upstairs. Dryer sounds horrible but seemed to work on. Dishwasher only functions on 1-2 settings. Radio would turn itself on mid day(maybe a timer issue but we couldn't figure out how to change it). Customers need to be encouraged to use their own service for music, as no radio stations come in clearly. We visited a month after the hurricane and there was a tree still leaning in the back yard. Would suggest a good leaf blowing prior to renters coming in so pathways are clearer to see, lots of fall risks. Upstairs is very nice. Downstairs is very small and tight but manageable. I would not suggest more than 4 people and that's tight.
