Our stay was okay. We were outside most of the time so I can only review things that we used and saw during our stay. Check-in was smooth, just wished they have trolley to put the baggages on (receptionist told us it was all used and it may still be on other floor) . We travelled with my baby so we had to request a crib, they gave us playpen but that’s totally fine (just make sure to clean/wipe around it) . Good thing I packed extra crib sheet and blankets. Upon inspection of our room, you can tell the property is old because the wallpapers are wearing off, the closet sliding door is broken, corners aren’t cleaned properly you can see some molds formed, and the floor wasn’t vacuumed well . We only used the pool once because the water was really cold. I remembered calling on April about the property and the lady I was talking to mentioned that issue about their pool and I was shocked that up until our stay, it’s still hasn’t been fixed. Also slide is not working, paint in the pool is peeling off, you can see it all over. Their laundry room was dirty. The shower door/glass in the room doesn’t slide, so water will be all over if you don’t put towel on the edge. Overall stay was okay, at least bed was comfortable and staff was accommodating. Hope they do renovations sometime soon like the other Sandman hotels. It really needs an update.
I forgot to mention, the elevators go up and stop abruptly, feels like you’re on a drop tower . We get nauseous every time.
