“The booking I made never reached the owner so when I arrived no one was there to greet me or let me into a room. Thankfully the key was in the door so I helped myself. Later in the evening a worker came and knocked on the door and we spent 20 minutes confirming my reservation. In the morning I had to spend another 10 minutes re-confirming my reservation or they were going to charge me (again) for the room. Great location and easy to find but not sure if my problem is unique or if they just……

“I highly recommend this homestay. The room was clean and basic and walking distance from the main strip in Ubud. It's about 1.5 kilometers down a hill. I did not have problems walking it. I recommend that if you are walking at night to walk on Il Suetra (road that homestay is on) as opposed to the other road that is more scenic because it s not lit in certain areas. There are stretches in both roads where there are no sidewalks but I walked facing traffic and moved to the the side when cars……
