I expected more for $249 per night !! Not even close to downtown so not sure why the rate was so high will reconsider choice hotels in future, not a nice stay Did not feel safe in parking lot Very unclean Plugs did not work in bathroom, had to pull power strip out from behind tv 1 soap for shower and sink Fancy mirror unstable on wall No hair dryer

We rented two rooms the 2nd week of July. The air conditioner in both rooms did not work and it was HOT - sweat dripping down my back in bed hot. In one room there were two queen beds. As soon as you stepped in the room you could see the HUGE dip in the middle of the bed. The ceramic tiles around the toilet were cracking. In the middle of the night (with bare feet because it was so hot) you could feel ceramic cracking under your feet and I thought i would wake up to glass shards in my skin. We booked this location due to its proximity to Interlochen and that's about the only positive I can find here. It was a close Uber ride away from the concert venue.

No hot water for a chunk of the time. Staff adopted an we don’t care attitude as did o the Expedia customer service people when trying to fix it. Never staying at Econo lodge again.

Felt like a “seedy” motel, broken tile, dark narrow hallways, no locking, fan in bathroom didn’t work, light on mirror not working, caulking dirty, noise from small refrigerator kept us awake until unplugged, torn up parking lot, general feeling was questionably safe, property was in bad condition. Good location close to Interlochen, that was our destination.

Property is not as described. There wasn’t a breakfast buffet. It was only muffins, cereal, sunny d and coffee. Please put ice water out at breakfast for people to cool their coffee off. We needed to out to eat. It was an extra expense we had not expected. The door to my bathroom was coming off the hinges and the window track had mold growing in it and above it. Over all the place is run down. For the price I expected more.

It has a strong smelly odor all over the hotel including the room. It had very Thin walls to where you can hear people talking from inside your room. Our bed was full of dirt or some kind of black pieces on it. The shower head would not stay in place, the sink faucet had a leak and we had flickering lights in our room. I would not recommended this hotel. Hotel does not look like pictures on here. Very disappointed!

Would not recommend staying here. Our room had a weird smell to it that I couldn’t quite identify. The room was spacious but furnished poorly. The lighting in the bathroom was very dim and made it hard to see. There was a very small continental breakfast included with our stay. But it was very limited and some of the machines were broken.

The outside of the building was not kept well, the room they had us in was literally directly in the lobby. You could hear the phone ringing through the door and peoples conversations with the hotel staff. At check in, the staff was nice, but then a door opened behind the counter and there was like 5 or 6 kids that appeared to be living in that room. My wife was immediately and irreparably creeped out by these things. I ended up simply checking out and leaving.

This place is disgusting. NOTHING like what is advertised! Rooms smelled awful, floors looked as tho they hadn't been vacuumed in days, the bathroom was gross, And the front desk help barely spoke English and if asked a question, they were rude and disrespectful. Unfortunately, everywhere else was booked so our group had to stay there. Nobody felt safe! And the so called "property manager" was not seen anywhere for any of us to talk too or return calls. We would be told when he'd be there but funny how nobody seen him at any time during our stay!!

Horrible - the pictures are not like what you get - no pool - no vending - no ice - missing parts to the room like hairdryer, smoke alarm (the wires are hanging out of the wall), broken screens, missing vanity pieces - broken doors to the outside - breakfast is a joke - would never recommend here and would not book through Expedia either - they won’t help you get your money back for the misleading advertising

Slamming of doors, missing shower shelves, burnt out light bulbs, heat lamp in bathroom would not stay on, face cloth and towels were like rough grit sandpaper, potholes in parking lot, continental breakfast is a joke, nighttime clerk stated that she needed a deposit for a online booking and that it would be returned immediately upon check out, then daytime clerk stated that it would be 3-5 days, nighttime clerk said no deposit would be needed if I had just walked in? So penalize me for booking online but to just take a chance and walk in and no deposit is necessary?! per single night is gouging when other "better" places I've stayed are per night single. I feel totally ripped off and I want a refund!!!

If you want a solid basic stay w/out spending $$$
If you have tried to get a hotel near Traverse City in any time except the dead of winter you know that the prices for hotels are bananas. I was drawn in by a very reasonable price for a weekend stay but I worried that it would be a stone cold dump. When we arrived we were pretty sure we were getting a dump. The parking lot/exterior/lobby is a bit rough. The room however, was pretty good. Comfortable and spacious. Had all the items that you wanted. We didnt use the pool but the indoor pool area looked nice when we passed it. All we wanted was a comfortable nights sleep and we got it. If youre looking for more amenities then this isnt the spot

The hot tub was too cold to use. Lighting in the room didn’t always work. Shower curtain was so short that water went all over the floor when showering Breakfast was mostly cold cereal and packaged pastry. Orange juice had a bad taste. Very over priced.
