“We had a very pleasant 4 day stay here. The property was perfect for our needs and has a fantastic view of the hills. If you’re looking for peace and quiet and lots of good, nearby walks this is the place to be. Laura was very welcoming and gave us lots of good information about the area. “Way cute cottage! Larger than the pictures showed. We enjoyed the sheep as neighbors, the pubs and restaurants were all dog friendly. The kitchen was really well equipped and the whole place was just stunning. Would totally recommend! Thank you!”

“This is an excellent house in superb state of repair with very good quality furniture. It is very well equipped and spotlessly clean. The booking process was simple and Martin Wardle of the agents was extremely helpful. The house is situated in a village which is very near Kendal, the lakes and just over one hour to the Solway coast. There are some very good dining places in the area with our favourite being The Watermill Inn which has its own micro brewery producing very tasty beers. All in all...

“Spa cottage was brilliant, it was clean, had everything you needed, very well furnished and its in a great location opposite the lovely village shop and right by the pub. Good walks nearby and everyone very friendly. Would definitely stay again. Braithwaite is such a lovely village.”

“Well equipped and obviously recently refurbished to a very good standard - having 3 showers and bathrooms is really good! Well equipped good kitchen and plenty of space. Location is ideal, great views of the fells and plenty of walking and other activities on the doorstep.”
