“The room and bathroom were small but clean, and the bed was comfortable. We were on the ground floor and had probably the only room with only a partial sea view. Half of the view was the restaurant. Breakfast was very good - you order from a menu rather than having a buffet. Weather depending, you could sit poolside or in the restaurant. The only drawback was that the A/C was set so it could not be lower than 21°C/70°F. For many that would be fine. For us it was uncomfortable and made it hard……

Allerdings kann man keine Liegen im Voraus reservieren, und die Sonnenschirme bieten keinen besonders guten Schutz vor der starken UV-Strahlung. “5 Sterne Hotel, das jeden Stern verdient. Sehr sauberes und schönes Hotel. Sehr zuvorkommendens und freundliche Mitarbeiter, außergewöhnliches Frühstück und tolles 5 Gang Abendessen in Halbpension enthalten. Es gibt nichts auszusetzen. Wenn wir wieder nach Krk fahren, buchen wir sicher wieder im Riva.”

“The property is large with lots of rooms and the wait for elevators can be very frustrating. Everything in the room was functional and clean, though there were quite a few stains in the carpet in the room and hallways. The property is in a good location and they have a nice coffee shop downstairs. Breakfast was included with our stay and there was plenty to chose from at breakfast given it was a huge buffet.
