We had a great stay. The island is beautiful and very welcoming to visitors. The beach is rated one of the top in the world. Restaurants within close walking distance were very nice. Club West is a condo style facility.

We had a fantastic experience at this hotel! Amazing view, exceptionally clean, friendly staff and great service!! Everyone that works at this hotel is friendly and helpful answering questions about what to do in the island and making the reservation for you. Brendan at the concierge was fantastic and very helpful anytime we needed help or had a question. Obed was also great at poolside service. We went for our honeymoon and couldn't have had a better experience. Thank you Gansevoort!!

we stayed at the caribbean village. grounds and room well manicured and clean. noisy fan that remains on with light in bathroom. service attentive and good. staff for the most part great. if you are planning a wedding, ask for chrystelle. food maybe slightly above average. too many items must be prepared already especially for breakfast. no award winning dining here. most food in french village seemed to be the best. if you plan on taking an included snorkeling or glass bottom boat excursion, go at least a day in advance to secure it. they found excuses not to take our group several times. i believe they don't have enough needed boats or equipment, so secure ahead of time. be aware also that you will NOT get phone service if you need for your work or whatever unless you pay a 39.95 extra DAILY fee. you can however get their wifi service for free UPON request.also be aware that shuttle service on your way back to the airport leaves 3 hours ahead of flight time. we waited needlessly around at the airport for 21/2 unneeded hours. bag pick up for our flight at 3:30 pm was 10:00 am, and checkout time was 11:00 am. mostly great time though. you will enjoy, but for me i would have just as soon have saved the money and gone to an all inclusive in cozumel for a much more reasonable price. hope this helps.

The Windsong on the Reef had the friendliest hotel staff I've ever encountered while vacationing in another country. My cousin and I were celebrating our birthdays at this location directly on the beach. The facility was clean and well kept. The grounds were manicured and lush. The room was nice and comfortable with a huge walk in shower and huge bathroom. The bed was very comfortable too! We enjoyed the beach and the service on the beach. The snorkeling was great and we saw sharks, turtles, stingrays and fish of all colors and sizes. It was nice to be able to just walk in the water and snorkel right there on the reef. We walked to the local Fish Fry on Thursday night and really enjoyed meeting the locals and tasting the local cuisine. A couple of nights we ventured off property to a local restaurant called Mr. Grouper's. It was a short taxi ride from our hotel. The food was excellent. The other nights we stayed at our property and ate dinner. The food was delicious and very plentiful. We ate breakfast every morning at the hotel too.

The Grace Bay Club is a nice, we'll run place until you hit the restaurant. That's when the disaster happens: terrible restaurants!! The Charming setting doesn't make your food taste better unfortunately.

We have stayed at the sands multiple times over the past five years. Still a very nice resort on the best stretch of beach on grace bay. The staff of both the hotel and the restaurant are gracious and welcoming. The rooms are showing some wear and the amenities are falling behind those of neighboring resorts. Stilll worth a stay, just feels like less of a value

Staying at the Royal West Indies was a delight. It completely exceeded my expectations. We had a beautiful studio botanical room that overlooked the very well-kept scenery and the pool/hot tub. While walking through the resort there's a walk way directly to the breathtaking beach which the resort offers complimentary chairs, towels, umbrellas, and water sports if desired. The room was very clean and if we needed a service, maintenance came up right away. The staff was very pleasant and helpful especially with booking excursions for you. We went snorkeling through Island Vibes Tour which was beyond amazing. We also spent a lot of time at the Pelican Bay restaurant/bar. The food and drinks were a bit pricey but delicious to say the least. If you're staying on a Wednesday night you must do their lobster extravaganza which is an all you can eat buffet with live music, definitely well worth it. My mother and I had an awesome time here and would definitely come back again. Some of my favorite staff members were Noel, who carried our bags to our room and constantly reminded us to "just be happy," and WJ from the bar who was very attentive and genuine. All of the staff were great but those are just two who I will always remember, they took very good care of us. Overall just a very relaxing and pleasant experience!

Loved the island! This hotel was very clean -staff was very friendly! We went October 9-13-and apparently this is slow season so there isn't very much staff actually working. So due to low season we had to ask for towels etc., no one was just bringing to you as usual. The bar ran out of pina colada mix!! Other than those two minor issues we had a great time! Would recommend!
