Friendly greeting and quick checkin. Massive room and massive en-suite bathroom with no shower holder or curtain. Parking is limited and would struggle should they be packed. So dogs are allowed but cannot stay in the room unattended. I have stayed in many dog friendly hotels and that rule I’ve never heard before and was not advertised. The bed is massive, 2 single mattresses and average comfort. But the main issue is the pipework tapping loudly and irritating from 5.30am until 8am. I struggled to sleep properly and travelling for work that was not good. Even with the radiators in the room turned off the tapping was present. I can only give an average stay rating. Location is poor unless you like fields. Decent for the money we paid but I imagine the price would increase after the pandemic.

Poor B&B

Room smelt bad, turned pillow over in the night and very quickly turned it back due to the odious pong - no hairdryer, no staff!!!! - were let in and that was it, breakfast was loaves of budget bread and some open pots of jam, coffee from some over complicated machine which was tasteless - Major disappointment :-(

Ok friendly, but toilet facilities and shower outside room. Some lights etc didn't work. Otherwise nice enough and economical

A Hidden GEM. This B&B exceeded all expectations.

Having paid such a reasonable price for our room we thought there must be a catch. No - its really excellent and exceptional value! I stayed with my boyfriend and the lady was so welcoming! Thank you

Beautiful old house

For an overnight stay it was fine. We had the large ensuite room which was very comfortable and quiet.

Lovely accommodation in a beautiful setting. The breakfast was toast, juice and cereal which absolutely suits me although I was totally alone and never saw the owner after she checked me in the night before. The coffee was excellent. Unfortunately, the room was somewhat cold hence my rather low rating for room comfort.

Heavenly home fromhome

It is one of the few places that have a bath which is what I was looking for. It was also very comfortable and homely and the landlady was friendly and welcoming.
