"I was a little leery about booking here when I saw the very reasonable price and the very high rating. I thought there must be a typo or something. I was pleasantly mistaken! This property has been recently remodeled with the nicest fixtures and furniture. Everything is spotless and the hosts could not be nicer or more helpful. When we had to extend our stay, they immediately made it happen. The complementary morning drinks were great. The coffee tasted wonderful and hit the spot as we left for our day of activities. The beds were comfy and everything was clean. The zero entry shower was perfect for my 100 year old grandmother. I have paid much more for accommodations that weren't near this nice. When we return to Salina, this will be where we stay."

"I just need a clean hotel and this was clean, even the corners of the bathroom. However the air freshener was so strong. As clean as it appeared there was no reason for all the air freshener. Makes my leary that there is an odor trying to be hidden. I woke up with swollen nasal passages. "

"I loved my stay at Vetehuset, Platera--everything from the covered parking in the back, to the authentic feel of the mill interior (the elevator, the vestibule, the lovely hallway and the staircase down to the street), and especially the beauty, style, and calm of the apartment. The art is evocative and well suited to the space, and the overall thoughtful design and comfort of the mini-splits, the well-appointed kitchen, bathroom, vanity, closet space, and wonderful bed all added to the charm of this place. I also appreciated how this apartment faces Main Street, which made being in Lindsborg particularly lively and memorable. I spent considerable time exploring the town sights, but also enjoyed walked the Meadowlark Trail and observing the extraordinary Mississippi Kites, whose dazzling flights patterns across the sky were another kind of art. "This was my second time staying in Lindsborg; the town is super cute with lot’s of culture, safe, quiet, and friendly. I booked a one night stay, as I was stopping along the way on a road trip. I learned the motel actually has two building locations, which are almost directly across the street from one another. The check in process was simple and the woman who checked me in offered a free upgrade. The room was clean, quiet, and secure. I traveled with my dog, and the pet fee was $25, which wasn’t a big deal, but it was a different price than what Hotels.com has listed for the fees. My room offered cable TV, a fridge and microwave, desk, two beds, and toiletries. Everything I needed! There isn’t any breakfast offered at this time, but there are two adorable locally owned coffee shops located in the historic downtown, which was just about six or so blocks away. As a solo female traveler, I would stay here again. "

The house was beautiful; well kept, clean and stocked with everything you could possibly expect.There were too many unexpected pleasantries to list as the house looks like it was brand new inside and out and the property was well manicured.
