"I recently had the pleasure of staying at Taj Cidade de Goa Horizon during my visit to Goa, and I must say the experience truly lived up to the esteemed reputation of the Taj brand in India. From the moment we were considering accommodation options, choosing Taj felt like a natural decision given its strong legacy—and our experience fully validated that choice. The level of hospitality, attention to detail, and overall service quality exceeded our expectations. Every department demonstrated exceptional professionalism, including reception, room service, housekeeping, and especially the food and beverage team. I would like to extend special appreciation to Duty Manager, Food Department and Housekeeping for their outstanding service and dedication. What stood out most was the genuine willingness of every team member to assist. We were a group of 21 people, and each one of us was thoroughly impressed by the warmth and efficiency of the staff. A special mention goes to Food Department, who went above and beyond—not only accommodating specific dietary requirements for some members of our group but also personally ensuring that special requests beyond the buffet menu were fulfilled seamlessly. Overall, it was a memorable and delightful stay. I would highly recommend Taj Cidade de Goa Horizon to anyone seeking exceptional hospitality and a truly premium experience."

"Room was clean and comfortable with all one would need. Staff all amazing friendly and helpful. I found the breakfast buffet to be very nice with many choices. But go early as they suggest as it gets very busy and hectic later on. The so called Caesar salad I ordered through room service however was horrible. And definitely not a proper caesar salad. They have essential oils dispensers in the hallways which I found to be way to strong and offensive. It burned my eyes and made me feel sick. Not sure why they think these are necessary. They did move the one from outside my room, but the odor was still overpowering. And for some reason, they decided to oil the wooden pool deck on a busy Saturday, making the pool more or less useless that day and Sunday for me as the odor was overwhelming. Would I stay again? Indeed 👍"

"Staff and front desk were very hospitable. Shomit and Sruti provided us with great tourist spots to visit. The restaurant staff and Amel checked in on your needs and provided great service and care. The picnic by the pool was a lovely treat and a great way to enjoy the weather and pool amenities. Benalium beach is a 100m walk with various food options. "

"The property is spread out. Some of the rooms are in a four plex building, while some are single chalets or duplexes. Dining restaurants are quite far from the majority of rooms, requiring walking or taking a golf cart ride. The buildings are generally well maintained as are the grounds and landscape. The rooms are spacious but the bathrooms ( relative to the square footage) are small. The resort has plenty of staff, but there is no sense of prompt customer service. From the room if one calls for service there is no one at the other end to answer or concern. One has to take the trek to the lobby, only to get an apology. We arranged a ride into Pajim to get there at a specific time time; however, the ride didn't show up on time, and finally did after much complaining. Again all we received was an apology. The much-touted Caravela was a disappointment. Old and very dark, and the service rather slow. Food was okay, but not befitting the Taj standards. The sister resort next to the HV has better restaurants, and one in particular - Paper Moon ( Italian Specialty) had the best service offered. What we didn't appreciate was that kids were allowed into a fine dining restaurant. One already gas to cope with kids in the pool and public spaces. Fine dining restaurants should a reprieve for guests to enjoy meals and drinks in a quite and serene space, following an hectic and chaotic day out and about. So for couples and those travelling in an adult group be cautious booking."
