Local wildlife such as deer, rabbits and a host of varied bird life are often seen in the garden. Field House is an ideal position for exploring the Isle of Purbeck, whether by car or foot. Swanage town centre and beach are a 10-minute drive as is the extremely picturesque village of Corfe Castle. Swanage High Street offers a range of independent shops and a good choice of eateries and bars. At either Swanage or Corfe Castle, you can catch the Swanage Steam Railway - a beautiful heritage steam line cutting through the pretty countryside. Further afield, take a visit to The Blue Pool, Bovington Tank Museum or Poole Harbour. UPSTAIRS 4 Bedrooms one with double bed, two twin rooms (one with en-suite bathroom (five steps down) and shower over bath), one with bunk beds. All four rooms have views over the valley and one with tantalising sea glimpses. Family bathroom (five steps down) full suite, power shower over bath W.C. which houses hot water immersion heater DOWNSTAIRS Kitchen electric hob and double oven, fridge/freezer, dishwasher, microwave, washing machine and tumble dryer Garden room spacious five metre square room extremely well lit by natural light due to extensive fenestration which provides both dining and living areas. Has a 55’’ Smart TV and comfortable furniture at one end as well as large dining table with chairs around for eating. Sitting room comfortably furnished with 48’’ Smart TV and Blu-ray / DVD player Dining room with large table for family meals Hall and sunny porch with seating Downstairs cloakroom with WC and wash basin Garden south facing laid mostly to grass which is not fully enclosed - Dog owners and families with young children please take note and take care. Fuel the house is all-electric with heating and hot water provided by an air source heat pump. Heating is via water-filled radiators in most rooms controlled by a thermostat in the Hall. The Kitchen and Garden Room have under-floor heating controlled by separate thermostats in each of these two rooms. A large hot water tank provides copious amounts of hot water.
