"Great trip! Awesome fishing spots. Peaceful and beautiful"

"We spent 3 relaxing nights at this cozy cottage. It had everything we needed just to disconnect for a few days. Comfortable beds and pillows, a fire pit, Muskoka chairs on the dock, 2 kayaks, pet friendly. Alona is a super host, very easy to reach. The only issue was we were not able to use the washing machine cause it needs a special detergent and we didn't feel like driving to get a bottle just for one load. We’d like to come back this Summer."

"We chose this cottage for our girls weekend and it was the right choice! The cottage was nice, clean and nothing too fancy. It was a great cottage for going on day trips because it's close to Bala. We mainly used the cottage to sleep, eat and hangout at night because it doesn't have a swimming area. The only thing I would mention is it doesn't have dishes, utensils or any other things needed to cook meals so make sure to bring everything you need for the kitchen. Otherwise, the cottage was...

"We had a lovely stay at this beautiful property. All the amenities were top notch and the views from inside the cottage are breathtaking thanks to the large windows throughout the cottage. The lake, while peaceful and quiet was still large enough to spend the entire day canoeing or kayaking and plenty of good fishing spots. "Nice weekend getaway cottage."

"Our primary reason for this visit was for my children and husband to fish. They had so much fun fishing and spent each day on the dock. The cottage was perfect for what we were looking for and the animals and nature was a perfect atmosphere for us, we even encountered two beavers that wanted to interact and play. It was so much fun and we made beautiful memories there. Thank you Tom for being such an amazing host."
