Trendy hotel with comfortable cozy rooms. Bed was very comfortable. The restaurant (Michele’s) was excellent. The service was also excellent. Very close to the Convention Center and China Town, and less than 10 minute walk to the Metro.

It’s more of a club than a hotel. They do not offer a traditional late check out and the rooms are tiny for the cost and location. Other hotels in the area are better. I would just go to the bars and such here instead of staying in a room.
The check in process was incredibly slow. It took me 45 minutes to get checked in. I then found the service all over this property incredibly slow or blase.
Very cute room with turntable and midcentury vibe, but really bare bones. Spotty/slow internet in room. No restaurant on site, nowhere to get a drink after 9:30 pm most nights. Travel with your own toiletries other than soap, shampoo and conditioner. No hand lotion, no robe, not even a bottle of water. Upside - staff was very friendly. Convenient location for downtown and close to Metro.
Overall a great clean hotel in a very convenient location. It has a nice rooftop with amazing views, accommodating staff, cafe and restaurant on the main floor are excellent as well. Everything is definitely overpriced and I’m a little disappointed that coffee and water wasn’t included in our $300 room.
My wife and I stayed at the Eaton this past weekend. A friend of ours was in town and we decided to revisit DC (we're from the region but live elsewhere) as a surprise to them. We're so glad we chose the Eaton. It's a wonderful property with plenty of amenities.
A friend who lives in DC recommended the Eaton Hotel so I decided to stay there. I loved the design and vibe of the place. Theres a lobby restaurant/bar as well as a coffee shop. There's also a rooftop bar as well as a speakeasy in the basement. I was allowed to check in early and it was very easy. The rooms are cool. You need a room key to activate the electricity in the room which took a few for me to figure out. But once i figured that out, I was in awe of the design. The room came with a record player and a curated selection of records. the bed was super comfortable. The bathroom was clean and nice. The shower was huge so really appreciated that. It didn't have a rain-head but was high enough (i'm only 5'10") so it felt like a rain-head. I was only on the third floor but I had a view of the street. All in all, i really enjoyed the room. Since Saturday nights are pretty busy on the rooftop at the Eaton, getting to your room may prove annoying or difficult sometimes due to the sheer amount of people in the lobby waiting to use the elevator. But other than that, I have zero complaints and would stay here again.
Fantastic, unique hotel in every way. Really nice and comfortable accommodations, amazing staff (all of them--so unusual)--helpful without being too much, social conscious (not something you find in many hotels), convenient valet, very walkable, terrific dining options in the hotel, pet friendly (not just pets allowed). My 1st choice for hotels in DC.
