Nice traditional hotel... recommended £60 or less

"The overall status of the hotel is nice, we arrived quite later at 1:00am, but the housekeeping starts knocking doors from 9:30 all the way to 10:40 (about 4 times) to ask people to check out... they really did what their boss told..."

"Very convenient for Carlisle city centre - can’t beat the location. Swimming pool in the hotel which was quite a surprise. Excellent staff and breakfast. Place was really clean."

"This hotel should be shut down by health and safety. It is atrocious. It’s unclean (shower curtains are brown), dirty (toilet paper had stains and dead bugs squished between the sheets), and unhygienic (the mattresses had no mattress covers). I would rather sleep in my car than sleep here again."
